| Worked for a while, and then it says that it‘s a trial version and won‘t let you do backups or anything. |

| If you receive an error that says the trial version has expired, boot your computer with a CD that contains a copy of the ‘AcronisRescueMedia‘ installed. For some reason I was able to backup my drive and restore it in this manner even though the trial version had expired. I backed it up to a separate partition instead of a DVD. Not sure if you can restore from a DVD but I don‘t see why not. If you do, make sure to add the ‘Acronis Rescue Media‘ to the backup DVD. This was done on a Vista machine. |
