When I check properties for the folder "ADOBE" it shows about 7gb. It‘s a lot to Un-RAR for sure. I deleted all the files from the RAR after installing so I do not know how much that was.

Having trouble installing all the features using Vista Home Premium 32-bit. A good 90% of it fails to install. Serial number is good. I tried running the setup file as "normal" and then again as an administrator and it continues to fail. Anyone have any tips?? |

Ok, for the Noobs; This file will take some time to download even with T1 or 20MBPS hard line fiber optics. After opening it with the RAR file opener it will be a VERY large file to install APPROX. 6GB...take your time and read instructions carefully...MUST...MUST...MUST Disconnect from the Internet....IP addresses are bad when using cracked/hacked Adobe products...otherwiseGREAT PRODUCT!!!

This file is a good one however after you unpack the ISO make sure you do a scan on the unpacked file and clean it,because some jerk decided to be a wise guy and infected it with a trojan virus but dont worry too much as long as you take caution in the next few steps you will be ok, now then go to Adobe.com and download the trial version of Adobe CS4 the download will take only a few minutes rather then 5 days from this torrent and then use the keygen from this torrent and make sure your internet connection is disabled because the program will want to communicate with the adobe servers, then run the disable_activation.cmd file that comes with it, this will stop the program from communicating with the server, then you can enable your internet access safely. |

This is a massive program. Requires 2gb of RAM. I started the download and then stopped it when I learned I needed additional RAM. It appeared to be okay, but I can not guarantee this, as I never finished downloading it. |

Took about 3 days to download, im on a 20 meg line, so this one is just slow.
HERE IS WHAT I DID: 1. Unzip Adobe CS4 Master Collection - Shadeyman (I have a core i7 machine, and it took 25 minutes, for most computers i can see it taking up to an hour, so wait!) 2. Disconnect from the internet. 3. Run KeyGen, generate a key. 4. Run CS4 setup. It takes about an hour to install everything. BE PATIENT! 5. After install completes select Register Later. 6. Exit CS4 setup. 7. Run Activation Disabler. 8. Reconnect to the internet. 9. Run the program! CS4 runs pretty slow on my system, not sure why. Im on Vista 64-bit with 6 gigs of DDR3 Ram, I think its a glitch. This is a clean copy, no viruses. It works and is a good torrent. Thank you! |

Okay guys, in the spirit of full disclosure, I am a total noob. That being said, I followed the instructions to the letter and got to the point of running CS4 setup. When I try to run it, I get a pop up box requesting admin permission, which I give.. and then the file queues up as if it is going to start the installation. The dialogue box then disappears and nothing happens. What do I try if the CS4 setup file doesn‘t do anything? |

It`s working under Windows 7. After the first start, the program try the update. So still disconnect and turn off the update. Or the program ask a new serial number.
If this happend, don`t wory, just disconnect, lunch the Activation Disabler, and generate a new serial number. Turn off the auto update and AFTER connect to the internet. |

cam8u4t-----keep in mind, ITS the most advanced version of PHOTOSHOP ever to be released to the public! So chances are, CS4 is not slow, its just your PC is! CS4 uses up a HELL of a lot of memory and system resources.........but for good reason! |

With CS4 it helps to have a fast PC, with "at least" a duel core CPU, and also a decent grapics card, since this is the first Photoshop to actively use graphics hardware accelleration!
I currently use an adequetly good graphics card--(Nvidia Geforce 8800-GT) which is all I need for what I do, as well as CS4! YET its my systems main engine...a *BLAZZING FAST* "Intel Quad core CPU" which was expensive but well worth the price, since its what makes programs like CS4 really fly! But even with a 500.00 quad-core processor.....a heavy duty program like CS4 still causes my system to slow down at times, and that is simply to be expected! Just take a look inside Windows Task Manager (while running CS4) and check out how much MEMORY it uses compared to any other program.....and then you can see what I mean! |

I tried 5 different softs to unpack this 7z file, includind WinRar and a few others too, and everytime I‘m getting an error message that the file is damaged. Enyone else having this problem too? What am I missing here? It seems that all of you didn‘t have any difficulty in unpacking the file. Why cannot be a regular rar or zip file? if the lience gets rejected after you run the activation disable this is what you do first uninstall the app then reinstall and follow instructions before you reconect the internet do this and no more problems :)it evan updates lol all works fine
