Yo Gammat , try downloading and installing the CCCP-Pack. I know the name sounds weird lol but it‘s a codec pack that enables Windows Media Player almost everything. http://cccp-project.net/ go there and try it. I always got a back up copy of the exe file somewhere. One of the first things I install after formating my Windows. |

Hey rimdeker and you other retards thats the shittiest codec pack ive ever heard of if it cant play .avi . Kill yourself please then go download Mplayer or vlc player Both are open source and free. They both have almost every codec built into them so you dont have a fuck load of processes slowing down your computer you know nothing about. |

why are there so many geek cunts that get so hostile pushing vlc??? hey guys i play the video from my computer to my tv so vlc kinda blows for that. if you feel like watching it on your monitor that‘s your prerogative but don‘t sit here and degrade others for wanting the encoders to do it right so it works on a variety of players. i myself love bsplayer and use k-lite codecs with no problems if that helps anyone who‘s having problems. |

wow, bunch of f*cking noobs in here. let me teach you something people. first, if you know nothing about downloading or playing media on your computer it is your responsibility to learn up about it before you engage in using sites like this. second, if someone asks a stupid question and you are bothing to answer, don‘t be a prick about it, you had to learn once, now help them. third, there are good codec packs that work well, and CCCP is a great one, and it DOES NOT install any processes that run in the background. fourth, vlc player is an absolute piece of crap that no real computer veteran would ever touch with a 10 foot ram stick. there are soooooooo many files it doesn‘t play that any player with CCCP will play. it also has a crap interface, crap options, and crap ease of use. only total noobs use it and i am getting tired of seeing it pushed by wannabees. the best player by far for the past 8 years and the only one i would ever use is zoom player pro. it plays everything perfectly including subs and multilanguage support, has a brilliant interface with great ease of use and customizability, and has so many more options than vlc it makes vlc look like a fisher price toy, but less reliable. if i was ever to use something other than zoom player it would be the core media player, which can‘t touch zoom, but is leagues better than vlc. vlc is such a basic noob player, although still better than WMP, which is the worst. try using a decent codec pack like CCCP with a good player like zoom player and learn something morons. if any files don‘t play it is because of some other conflicts, it is never the codecs or the player. it is your hardware or some other conflicting software. i have NEVER had ANY file not play on zoom player combined with a decent codec pack. and i mean NEVER. plus as mentioned, vlc player sucks balls for tv-out. mplayer is a joke, can‘t believe someone mentioned that thing.
Rimdeker was trying to help and you stupid noob posers tried to pretend like you could school him when you don‘t know jack. for anyone else reading this, i am a REAL internet and media veteran and what these guys said is BS. use zoom player with CCCP and you will never experience any problems that can‘t be resolved with a little options tweaking using the excellent zoom player interface (although you almost never need to). |

Damn give the noobs a break. Im no veteren but I use the k-lite codec pack and media player classic. Ive NEVER had ANY problems. Not even one. It dosnt slow my system and was easy to download and install. I have yet to find a good file I cant play. |
