it didn t ask me the serial number..but it asks for the original dvd while the game is opening..pls help me:)

I burned it using Alcohol 120%, selected "autorun.exe" prompted to insert original disk and restart game. Inserted burned disc, same result. Do I need to rewrite any file? knowledge or resource for fix appreciated. |

Game works really well. Although I seem to be getting a load of virus warnings since I downloaded it, but I‘m not certain it‘s from this program. But, if you do want it to work run the iso with D-Tools after you put the iso in the program files where it‘s installed. |

Thank you so much! I love the Anno series. I wish I was exposed to them a lot sooner. Such a breath of fresh air for an American looking for an awesome RTS. Works like a charm, albeit with a few modifications. :P |

As a precaution. If anybody downloads the expansion (it works) it will update your anno 1701 vanilla to version 1.04, thus rendering it unplayable. You will only be able to play the expansion, not the vanilla anymore. I hope somebody uploads a 1.04 patch NO CD crack.
