I extracted to my win directory - ran the installation (which showed up as a cmd window) - after everything was done, it tried to run directx, but didn‘t install because I‘m already running directx9 with XP - now I try to run the game, but I get the windows error before it even opens |

For anyone trying to run from shortcut created on desktop, and getting error message about registry, try running AssassinsCreed_Game.exe file instead. Shortcut gave me error but running AssassinsCreed_Game.exe directly worked beautifully. Created shortcut to that file instead -- hope this helps somebody! |

I have P4 3Ghz HT, 1gb ram, 256 GeForce 7800 gs AGP and this works fine. u can run it on a much lower spec, i am managing fine with all settings medium postfx=on and 2x multisampling. Thanx Skullptura was previously bodged english/russian version with patch to get jerusalem to work, this is much better!! nice use of 7z as well. to all u queens keep bitchin about seeds, there‘s over 2300 ppl seeding full copy!!Either learn how to configure ur torrent program or shut the fuck up and buy the game!! if u can‘t do a simple game install u shouldn‘t be on here!! losers |

Downloaded and had no trouble installing it, but once i run it the game itself runs fine but it doesn‘t start with full screen, i am still able to see my windows start bar on the top of my screen and even if i enter windows and restore game screen it still shows the top side of my windows screen, this causes immense lag within the main menu of the game and can‘t really do anything like that. If anyone knows what might cause this let me know :) |

Ive installed it perfectly. But when I load it up, the screen goes from White to black. The sound is there, you can here the ubi logo and other affiliates. Has anyone found a solution for this problem. My system is running on vista ultimate 64x. ATI Raedeon X550 256mb Graphics card, 1GB Ram and an intel pentium 4 3.06GHZ. i figured out how to make it full screen. inside your ac folder you will see like 3 or 4 icons that can each run assassins creed. for me when i was running on direct x 10 it went into windows mode which caused alot of lag on the main menu. if u wanna go into full screen click the dx9 icon.
and for those of you who got the error while trying to launch from your desktop just go inside your ac folder where ever that may be and double click on one of the ac icons. |

Works fine BUT i did have a prob during installation so i followed skullpturas instructions on what to do if an error is encountered during setup but that DIDNT work!!!??? (not had that from a skullptura rip before) so i disabled the UAC on vista and it tried a gain and it worked fine. Just one problem with the game and that is the fact that the sound is out of sync on the cut scenes.
But other than that it works well Thanks skullptura every skullptura rip i have downloaded so far has worked |

Dont patch the game or update it in anyway if you have and then download the oldest Crack, sounds crazy but sometimes the Cracks that are a higher version like 1.2 and 1.4 dont work regardless of you patching the game or not, so try an old 1.0 crack. :) |

Works fine. quick question tho. i did a scan on the downloaded file (not unpakced) and it came up as unreadable because its was a decompression bomb 0.0 im pretty sure this was a false positive but im just wondering if anyone else has had a report like that. i also scaned the files after i unpacked and installed it and it didnt find anything. i used avast antivirus to scan it. other than that the game works perfectly (btw dont DL the patch) |

Game installs properly. In the DirectX box I get that my drivers are newer then the ones in the game. I get the opening sequence and then a logo and then a window telling me the game must shut down. Tried the error file suggestions and tried using other exe files as well but always a shut down at exactly the same spot. Can‘t find a solution here or elsewhere. Does anyone have a clue please.

if you run the game and it says theres an error try running "AssassinsCreed_Game" instead of the luancher, chances are it will work.(luancher is busted)

ok i‘ma try and help some people out here.
1. If you install the game and hear it but see black and white stuff, this means you got a problem with your video card (meaning it either sucks nuts or you dont have the drivers installed) 2. if your having trouble installing, there is no iso. needed there‘s an Assassins creed setup file included in the folder. 3. if you can install and see everything but have problems playing it, you may have let the patch download, DO NOT DO THAT the patch is pointless to download, so when the little dialog box pops up saying its dl‘ing the patch cancel it out and continue that start up of your game. 4. if your still having problems with crashes, then im lost and it sucks to be you, also anyone running vista may have trouble with this i know a few people using vista that couldnt get this to work so that may be it, i dont know i dont use vista myself. 5. SOMEONE SEED DAMNIT!!!!!!! =O ------ ANGRY FACE! |

I had the same problem where when you click shortcut to open the game it reads:
configuration error:0x0002 configuration error:0x0003 Reinstalling the game may fix this problem. however, when manually going into the game file and clicking AssasinsCreed_Game.exe it opens but it lags so bad. (maybe because of my computer - hp tx2z) Also, to unstall the game, just delete the folder? |

I downloaded this game from skullptura and the install is beautifle the game starts up and the sound works great and when I hit keys the game responds with no lag is seems but ..........the game switches back and fourth between white and black screen everything els works fine I am running an ATI Radeon Behemoth 9600 series that should be enough to run the graphics for the game does anyone have the same problem and if you did how did you fix it keep in minde I run Oblivion and farcry for the 360 just fine but this game just fucks up please help I know you are good for it |

Why did skullptura reloaded?? ..I have his first version of Assassins Creed and there was no Jerusalem probs on my PC---plus i‘m about more than half-way in the game now.
If this included a built-in patch then I would understand but if there‘s none then there‘s no need to download this if you have the previous AC game -of skullptura-. And yes to the doubters, skullptura‘s installations are easy to understand heck its for brainless PC idiots who haven‘t seen or heard installations. Problems must be on your PCs and can‘t handle the game. The rip is perfect
great rips as usual from skullptura small size works perfectly FOR VISTA USER OFF UAC. 1.extract the rar file. 2.click setup bat. 3.extraction takes place for 10-15 minutes. 4.direct x installation. 5.this leads to patch update[note to cancel it]. 6.after this the game launches. 7.for some the game may open for only the 3/4 th of the screen. 8.go to the game folder directory,look for "AssassinsCreed_Dx9". 9.make a destop short cut of this on destop for easy access. for me there was some lag between the speech and the cutscene videos. except that good solid steal. |

I need some help, i didnt download Skull‘s exactly, but i did download another one from BTjunkie, and it worked perfectly fine. Up until this morning, i turned on my computer and tried to play memory block 4. This memory made my game lag, ONLY when i kill someone/counter attack/complete a task. It freezes the picture for about 3-4 seconds, where i hear the audio, then the picture goes like normal, without audio. it is quite annoying to play this way. I attempted to even patch to 1.02, (which i did sucsessfully) and the problem still occurred. Any help? |

A couple things u will all want to know:
first, yes, u can update this torrent with 1.02 patch. what u do first is: Man to update, do the next: download the patch assassins creed patch 1.02 from internet than follow this steps BEFORE install patch 1)Open the registry editor by typing regedit in the Run window. 2)Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionUninstall 3)Right click on Uninstall, select New and then Key. 4)Name the key: {8CFA9151-6404-409A-AF22-4632D04582FD} (just copy and paste) 5)Right click on this key and select New and then String Value. 6)Rename it to: DisplayVersion 7)Double click on it and under Value Data type: 1.00 second: google - assassin‘s creed 1.02 no CD and download and install it the next thing u wanna know is ths save game files are not in the normal spot. i have no clue where this rip puts ur save games. id love to know, but i dont. ive played through the whole game and ive found no issues with this release (aside from the save game file location issue). does anyone know where the saves go??? |
