AUDIO RATING : 10/10 MOVIE " PIECE OF MIND " : 7/10. I LOVE Baz Luhrmann movies...however, this one SURPRISINGLY did not do it for me. I initially thought that it was going to be more compelling...but I found it to have been too long to the point that it dragged. The movie didn‘t have much of a plot and it was tiresome in the end. However, its redeeming qualities is that once more, it is ultimately original in its filming and scenes. Baz Luhrmann does KNOW how to add the " fantastical " and the " fairy tale qualities in his movies. But like I said, Moulin Rouge is probably his crowning movie to date. |
