MechantOfUtopia, get a newer crack or reapply the one in the release and it will work. Anyway the patch doesn‘t seem to be very important. |

I got a problem. Now, when I try to install BioShock it goes as normal. But at the end it says to download a patch, but I haven‘t inserted the right CD (Same problem as MerchantOfUtopia). Now you just got 2 options: Try again or cancel. You can press Try again for a long time but nothing will happen and when you cancel it, the setup removes the game from your pc again. How the heck am I able to get a newer crack then or reapply the one in the release, ITurtle?

Got the same problem as Yrill and vacadeus, can‘t install the game. Disabling the net before installation or copying the installed game in other directory before cancelling does not help. Too bad, it took me 5 days to download this. |

Ok to all having trouble to install i used Deamon tolls lite 4.30 + yasu. You can find both on www.gamecopyworld.com under tools. Just stay connected to internet and let it download patch.....

Monster computer lol. I have Intel core 2 duo 1.87 cpu, 2 gb corsair 800mhz ram, Radeon HD 3870 Ultimate and running vista home. Bioshock plays like a dream on 1650 x 1024 with maximum settings and direct x 10 option turned on so the answer is no you do not need a monster machine. Nice to see that once again that there is not one single coherent solution to the problem of the patch download at the end of installation. I had been playng the full rip version but wanted to update which obviously wasnt possible.
Deaserd i think you need to actually try installing this before you post links on how to install cracked games as the problem is not that simple. ITurtle if you managed to get around the update issue then maybe you would like to share your method with the rest of the class rather than just sying it works great. mastaofdesasta this wouldnt even install using DT 4.30 I had to use poweriso. I am going to find a solution and post clear easy to follow instructions for people still having the same problem i just had rather than talking out of my ass and advising solutions that I havent even tried myself |

Right ok, after trying one or two suggestions posted here i ended up stressing out to the point of distraction so had a probe around to see if I could find the solution myself and I did yay!!.
Here is a list of things not to do or simpy unnecessary 1) Dont waste time with YASU 2) Dont close install wizard with task manager to get around update 3) Dont attempt to copy crack files before installing 4) Dont move the files to a seperate folder before cancelling the update bear in mind that games and applications need to be installed properly in order to run in a stable manner i.e registry entries etc. 5) Finally, do not listen to 98% of the idiots who post advice on this website as you may end up needing therapy And here is a list of things to do 1) Access emulation options in Daemon tools and swich SecuROM !!ON!! 2) Mount image, Install, allow wizard to update (yes it will work this time), copy crack files to Bioshock installation directory Thats it!! |

It works alright somewhat glitchy; I get audio and everything and I‘m running Vista x64 but like, I can‘t play it full screen or else it crashes, although not too bad just have the taskbar up top.
I can‘t get past the part in Arcadia where you go into that plant ladies vault... I open the vault with the code and like it says empty. And then I get little reminders saying to press H for help, and I do and it says to go to the vault, but theres nothing in there. |

I‘ve been having troubles launching games including .reg files. I followed all instructions (install, copy crack and .dll, merge .reg) and when I run the game no window pops up but I can see that it‘s trying to run in my task manager only under processes. My drivers r updated and I am able to play the demo version, so I know it isn‘t a hardware/driver problem. Help Please! |

ok so I fixed it took me couple of hours but I got it, this is how I did it
1 DL this torrent, crack works 2 DL the patch 1.1 seperate 3 DL something "bioshock mising files" it has some files and the original exe you‘re gunna need, I already closed the link like a dumb shit but you can find them on rapidshare or somethin now install the game as normal wait till it‘s ready to update the patch and says insert disc obviously do nothing clicking anything will remove the game go to your 2k games folder copy it to desktop, rename it and the bioshock folder inside (I did this just to be safe do whatever you want) like "K games" and "Bioshock2" get the missing files and copy them into the "release" folder, the .exe original for bioshock should be in there, it doesn‘t intall during the wizard cuz it never completes now that you have those extra few files and the exe you can patch it, so patch it, it might come up with the wrong .exe location file path first time click "no" and it should change I have to click no a couple of times but it should eventually come up with the file path leading to your bioshock directory on the desktop click yes when this happens, it will patch, back up your "missing files" and original exe though just incase now copy in the crack go back to your game installer and click ok on the "please insert original disc" or whatever the fuck it says and click ok, it should remove the 2k games folder and all the bioshock shit from your x86 program files or where it was, now rename the folders on the desktop back to the original unmount your mds and put the folder into your program files, launch and play |

I tried to install with Daemon Tools Lite with SecuROM activated, but doesn‘t work. In the final of installation appear one message about the disc. To complete the install i installed Alchol 120% and created one Virtual Drive and deleted the Daemon virtual drive. Works fine. |

i have problems too with the first loading screen. The solution is to put to Window Mode. And with my audio (Realtek). To resolve the issue if you have Realtek soundcards, search in youtube for StereoMix. My system running under Vista SP1 x64. |

OK SOLUTION TO MY ABOVE PROBLEM, YOU HAVE TO EDIT THE DEFAULT.INI!!!!!
ok so To fix - Edit your default.ini. Put a semi-colon in front of AudioDevice=FMODAudio.FMODAudioSubsystem, and add the following line right after it: AudioDevice=D3DDrv.D3DAudioDevice After edits, that part of the config file should look like this: ;AudioDevice=FMODAudio.FMODAudioSubsystem AudioDevice=D3DDrv.D3DAudioD evice Yay! I finally get to play! :) |

A simple way:
1- mount on Daemon tools or Alcohol and install 2- when it asks for the original dvd to download the patch, press ALT+Tab and rename the directory in wich u installed the game (probably C:Archivos de programa2K GamesBioShock) 3- press ok to end the installation, it will say the install failed. 4- copy the crack in the BuildsRelease subfolder and run the secu.eg.reg Should work. u can raname the folder to it‘s original name if u want. Furthermore, if u want to install the 1.1 update, just use the cracked exe of the 1.0 version and it works fine. |
