Another great release! Thanks! I‘ve tested it and it works great. There is one very annoying bug in this game though. When you can‘t get past the startup movies try to rename [Call of Duty Folder]/miles/mssmp3.asi to mssmp3.bak. It worked for me. |

Just downloaded it, followed the instructions in the ‘read me‘ he supplied, used 7-Zip to extract it, and then it took about 30 min for the rebuilding and the only problem or error message that came was that it couldn‘t find the ‘d3dx9_34.dll‘ which I simply copied from another game folder on my hard drive and pasted into the final Call of Duty rebuilt folder. Game ran immediatly and got sucked into it - I played all the prologues and 5 levels into Act I before I managed to tear myself away. Great job by Skullptura! |

Here‘s what happened to me the first time: I use the 7 Zip program to extract the game folder.
The game folder, however, still has to be rebuilt. During the rebuilding process........AND THIS IS IMPORTANT............do not allow any virus scanning programs or any other downloading of any other files or programs to occur. It will mess up the rebuilding process, and you will have to start over. The first time I tried to do the necessary rebuilding with the extracted folder, I had another download going on to the same hard drive. I got an error message that said something changing on the disc during the rebuilding process caused it to abort at 80%. I shut down all my other downloading and background programs and tried again, and it worked perfectly. I finished the SP last night and this game rocks! |

Everything is working great, though i didn‘t have to disable any antivirus or close any downloads for the rebuilding as the other people said.
Nicely packed with 7z, thats what makes it smaller than normal RAR files. After unpacking the game also takes ~6GB as "other" releases. Multiplayer only work for one person logged in at a time. Singleplayer is cracked or "patched" as some people call it. So just unpack with WinRAR/7z, rebuild, and run. Thanks Skullptura! |

Oh No! This nightmare were real! I did it just like gindara sayed and this is what happened, i just were extracted the folder and then i tried to run the setup, i worked, and i left it there to rebuild and i went to school. after 6 hours at school i came back home and checked the thing, OH FOR GODS SAKE! If you are having tons of CRC errors etc. when extracting the 7zip, just extract it in C:
I was having like 2000+ errors in WinRar when I tried to extract it in my download folder...it all went away when I extracted in C: After that just run Setup.bat (seems to be taking about 30 minutes for me)... |

I got all the updates form xfire.com, it doesnt matter where u find them, theres 4 update patches, install each one in logical order: 12, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5. k, the patches arnt that big at all, this whole process shouldnt take more than 30 mins at all. The updates dont do anytinhg to the single player part of the game, they just polish off the MP, and also you will have to go find a 1.5 SP crack(butnone of your single player data will be lost). Now you have CoD4 1.5 no? k now heres the bit abotu getting to play online: --PLAYING ONLINE, FIXING MP ERROR-- Umm, go find some cracked servers, http://private-servers.info/callofduty4.html, and add them to your favorites list on CoD4, or connect to them using the console (if the button next to 1 doesnt open console you probably have console disabled, enable it in multiplayer option!) K i wont tlak about connecting to servers cause its pretty baisic and ur sister could do it. Now heres the bit about fixing that error. You may have the 1.5 mp private server patch (gamecopyworld.com we all recommend you get it) or you may not. But you will notice, everytime you try to connect to ur cracked server, everything works fine,appart from it gives u an error before the map loads, AND NOONE CAN READ THE ERROR cause its hidden behind the crashed game, lol. If you really wanna read it, rght clcik it fomr the startbar, and click move and use arrows keys to move it into sight. K, so the error suggests your iw_06 file in your MAIN folder is corrupted, this stoped yu from entering servers, I THINK THIS IS THE REASON WHY THE LOADING BAR STOPS AT 15% ON 1.0 WHEN CONNECTING TO SERVERS, if it is, then you might be ablke to play all those 1.0 servers if you dont updates to 1.5. --HOW TO FIX-- k i spent 2 unreplacable minutes of my life finding links to the iw_06 file, its around 150mb so the uploader split it into 4 parts, so just download the 4 parts to the same folder (desktop makes sense) and extract with winrar, and i dont care what u do, just switch it with the shitter on in the MAIN fodler, and you should be able to connect to the server. --LINKS TO iw_06-- http://www.wtorrent.com/search.aspx?pageno=1keyword=The+Call+of+Duty okay this is how to fix the multiplayer gameplay but the links are not working anymore so im gonna post these are new links on the iw_06 file |

if u want to get the file: d3dx9_34.dll, u dont have to download it off google, just go to c:WINDOWSsystem32 (for xp). if you are too lazy, then go to search and type in the file name, then it will come up with that file from that directory. :) |

oh and passion64 all you have to do to uninstall the program is just go to wherever you downloaded the file originally and delete it and also delete the file where you extracted the game to. by the way you may have to do it in reverse order because it might say that the file is in use by another program |

hey passion64 sorry bout the wait. anyway wanted to tell you that all you have to do is if you haven‘t already download directx. when you have done that open up the file in program files look for a zipped file having the same name as the missing dll. in other words any of the november2007 d3dx9_34‘s just select the file and unzip then take the unzipped file and put it in the same folder as the game. as for the error dont worry about it, should be nothing. and if when the game starts it asks to run in safe mode click yes hope this helps will check back if there are any other questions.

ok to homer420 bzakoss merkle11 and trogen25. the whole file thing is exactly as i described above, it was a small error on the uploaders part or maybe not anyway just follow the instructions i wrote, but if you are missing a different dll just use what i said as an example for how to fix the problem using direct x file or just save all the files from directx to the same folder as the game. should work then. and trogen25 shouldn‘t take 84 minutes but if it worked for you great. |

Great download, 400kb/s at times... Works fine, just be patient and make sure you have the latest version of winrar.. 5 mins to extract 25 mins+ to rebuild..

You have to follow these directions and when you turn on your computer, do NOT TURN ANYSHIT ON! NADA EXCEPT THE CoD bat file!
startrun type- msconfig ,and press enter press services tab check "hide all microsoft services" box uncheck all service boxes press "startup" tab uncheck all startup items press apply restart PC run setup.bat now to restore all - do same - check all boxes back and restart When you restart, DO NOT TURN ANYTHING ON! Shit! No internet, no aim, nada. Just go open the bat file. I recommend you extract the entire CoD folder into Program files, and if you cannot extract it directly into Program files, just extract it in a random folder and move it to program files. Now, RESTART. Your computer should boot up fast w/o the startup programs running. Go to the bat file and if it says "blah blah blah is missing" then you‘re fucked. Delate that shit and re-extract it. If there is no message except a bar and a "1%" then you have to LEAVE IT THE FUCK ALONE. =] It takes a long ass time but as long as that "your file is missing" shit does not appear, then you‘re good. Just leave it over night. That should solve your installing problems. FOR ONLINE PLAY. hiya people can u help me? ive downloaded this game extracted it rebuilt it then it was saying d3dx9_d11 was missing but ive sorted that and got the game working, i opened up the cod4 modern file its seems to work untill i start a new game it loads up so far and then just sticks, ive also tried the other file the mp 1 and it loads up and says the sumin about the punkbusters was unable to work, can u guys help me please??? |

I‘d recommend passing this torrent up. It works but the in-game videos have been compressed... not to mention the rebuilding which takes an easy 45 minutes. Online doesn‘t even work with a valid key... mine just freezes upon loading maps. |

Lol, i‘m adding my opinion about this game and about the torrent creator ok, as as far as the game is concerned, i had an excellent download with the torrent, it only took 2 days. Then i seeded for about a day a half, then i extracted the game to my program files, which took about 30mins or so, then i clicked on the setup batch file, and it took about an hour to be done. It put a shortcut on my desktop, i clicked onto it, and SHAZAAM!! no problems, no errors, no glitches, the game plays as smooth as hot butter. I think SKULLPTURA is one of the best, if not the best game torrent creator going on this site, and people should take their time and read his instructions, follow through and it all works great. PROPS!! to SKULLPTURA and of course i love BTJUNKIE.ORG, also i wanna say to those downloaders of his torrents who can‘t get things to work, start from the beginning on all your processes, from your PC hardware, to playing the game. Don‘t blame the creator when most of the time its the users error and his machine, and lets be real some people just should not use torrents, if you don‘t have the knowledge of how to do them, and tuning your torrent program. Gain the knowledge of these processes as best you can, and we here at btjunkie.org do assist when we can with knowledge. Thanks again SKULLPTURA BTJUNKIE and all you guys who assist with knowledge. I encountered the missing d3dx9_34.dll and resolved it by finding the file on google and installing it in c:windows. Next I installed the most up to date directx but am running into problems. When I try to launch the game it says ‘Directx encountered an unrecoverable error. Please read the readme file for possible solutions.‘ Any advice on how to resolve this? Thanks in advance. |

extract ones if it don‘t work do it again(if it take longer than 30 min to extract then its not gonna work stop and do it again) and it should work. it took me about 2 hours to re build but it plays great and the graphics are great.

Turn off your anti virus and anything else that may run in the background. The only problem I had was some bad iw_# files, downloaded elsewhere and replaced. other than that, awesome. dl it overnight, only took like 25 minutes to rebuild, then prolly 15 minutes dl and replacing the iw_# files. |

All Skullptura rips are heavily compressed - check out his other games. I assure you they are legit though. I‘ve downloaded this and Left 4 Dead and both work. As for this download; it works flawlessly. I had to download a missing dll file which took about 5 seconds. Apart from that, the torrent is clean and plays fine. Though I should add I haven‘t tried multiplayer yet. |

this is not original version with key u got. so u cant play on original servers. download X-FIRE game client to play on private servers with key u got. thats how i did. u can try garena too but my experience is x-fire much better and easier to manage. |
