Indeed the guy who uploaded this, might have made it a bit hard for begginers,but it‘s not *that* hard. Just rename the Original cryptapi.dll to cryptapi_.dll ,and add the cryptapi that came with your download,to the Installed folder.Add the second dll,register with your own mail,and run:) have fun |

Works perfectly for me. For those having trouble interpreting the instructions, it‘s really quite easy:
1. Run the installer (in the "Setup" folder) but do NOT run the program once installation has finished. 2. Navigate to the installation directory (in "Program Files") and rename cryptapi.dll to cryptapi_.dll (so you have a copy of the original). 3. Copy both the DLL files in the "dll Updated FULL" folder to the installation directory (replacing the original dtprohlp.dll). 4. Run DAEMON Tools. It will ask for registration details: just use whatever name and your email address. Now you have DAEMON Tools Pro. Hope this clarifies it for those who were having a hard time... |

probably runs the program on vista. To denie the error, simply open the Daemon tools pro icon on the desktop as administrator ;) |

I followed all the steps but came back "Unable to add adapter. Insufficient Privileges." I then opened the Daemon tools pro icon on the desktop as administrator but came back "THE APPLICATION IS CORRUPTED" |

Make sure to put a ‘_‘ after ‘cryptapi‘, nothing else. I put something else, and it said corrupted, but now it works fine. |

Followed stn825‘s directions perfectly. Had the same error message that many others had saying "Unable to add adapter. Insufficient Privileges." and then tried running it as administrator off my desktop. At first it looked like it had fixed it but every time I try and open daemon tools it shows the startup screen and then immediately goes away.
Bad description but its the best I can do... anyone have any suggestions? |

checkit, i downloaded this torrent, changed "cryptapi.dll" to "cryptapi_.dll", copied the updated FULL files into the Daemon Tools folder in Program Files, and when I try to run it, it says "The application or DLL C:Program FilesDAEMON Tools ProDTPProHlp.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette."

Im running WinXP SP3 and followed stn825‘s instructions (which are also provided in the nfo and this works fine. No problems whatsover.
So this torrent is GOOD. If people are having problems then there is a system conflict in some way or they just aren‘t follwing the procedures correctly. Great upload! Thanks! |

Alright here go the steps in order to solvethe problem for those who got the "Not Enough Privileges" message to come up: Right click you DTPro application Icon and click properties,Click the "Security" tab, Once there, click the "Edit" icon to change the permission settings, names should come up just click on yours, give your self "Full control" and click "OK". Next, click on the "Compatibility" tab, look by the bottom of the page and put a check on the "Run this program as Administrator" section and click "ok". That should solve your problems and give you the ability to use this program, Hope it helps. take care now. |

Hahahahaha have any of you asked yourselves why you even need DT pro advanced in the first place. I bet most of you only want it for a couple of virtual drives and emulation options in which case DT lite is 100% perfectly adequate. Doesnt require any renaming of files either lol. |
