i have a problem. after eden it ask u to save ur game. then i saved it. then i continue the save game and it says wrong disk. I tried unmount and mount but nothing happens..
i played the game without wow6432node in the registry. By the way can some one tell us what with the wow642node do to the game? THANX |

ok i just finished disc 1 and was working perfect but went to play disc 2 and it says insert disc 2 and ive tryed mount/unmount and restarting the game and nothing =[ ive also tryed cd cracks dont work i moved files and nothing i moved the disc 2 files out and put them in an iso and still nothing i tryed almost everything i no and im getting no further forward =[ can any1 help?? my email is dani-2k9@live.com thanx if u can =] |

@ RissaLoves... Ok, so i had that problem at first and someone told me to "go to Program files and create a new folder then COPY the FF8 application from the FF8 folder to the new folder then send new folder to desk top"... Launch the game from that new folder on the desktop. For some strange reason that worked, and it worked for two other persons i‘ve told it to also. |

Found a really good tip for this as i had alot of problems with it crashing during loadup and intro..
go into your startbar then select run... type in (dxdiag) then hit ok. once here goto sound options and lower the hardware acceleration to basic then try again hope this works for you :) |

Ok, I am lost now. I have no idea what he is talking about doing with the location and the Disk files. I changed the drive name to my virtual Dameon drive, but still when it asks to insert disk 1, where is disk 1 at? there is just that one Iso file. Please help, email is nicholas_sevas_tra@yahoo.com |

I GOT IT! DISC CHANGING PROBLEM SOLVED!
1.first you wanna download a program to create an iso image file there are plenty of programs, i used "Folder2Iso" which can be found here... "http://www.trustfm.net/divx/SoftwareFolder2Iso.php?b2=1" 2.Then extract all the files from dvd image that came in this torrent 3. of these files put the following into a folder... DISC2.PAK DISK2 FIELD.FI FIELD.FL FIELD.FS (swap out the to files from disc2 for discs 3 and 4) 4.use your iso creating program(Folder2Iso in my case) to turn that folder into an iso 5.mount your newly created iso 6.start the game and load your save from the end of disc one(after fighting edea) and you will now be in control of Laguna, SUCCESS! |
