| Apprently, The season 5 is just a syndication of the previous episodes by Comedy Central...check on wiki..
it says: "Season five is being aired on Comedy Central during 2008. It consists of the four straight-to-DVD films divided into sixteen individual episodes. Each four-episode set will be aired after the release of the accompanying film. In addition to airing the new season, Comedy Central has taken over syndication of the previous episodes." Season 5 is to be realeased 2008-2009, so on it is 5 years away from season 4...anyone would like to discuss it? Santnamor2013...maybe because they left fo to comedy central? and their budget is much smaller...I wish to get the accompanying film...regards.. |

| The list of episodes on Wikipedia goes by the Volumes (the DVD releases), hence why there are only 4 "seasons" listed. However, 5 seasons were originally aired. If you look in the "TV Order" column, you will notice that there are codes like "S04E03" (season 4, episode 3) and "S05E06" (season 5, episode 6). |

| ok heres how it went down, there are only four PRODUCTION seasons, fox took unaired episodes from seasons 3 and 4 and aired them as a season five.
so they got them all out of order and junk, now futurama is making four straight to dvd movies. their going to chop these movies up and make new material so they can make it into 16 episodes on tv. the only way to get the four real seasons is to buy them on dvd cuz no one can get it right |
