OK sorry my mistake, it works now, I had the torrent still active so the file were read only, if anyone else has the same problem you have to stop the torrent or if you‘re nice copy the game to another directory to continue seeding |

GTA Liberty City is not a pc game, this is probably some stupid emulation with bugs, errors and all that kind of stuff. My advice: buy Play station 2 or 3 if you want to play GTAIII and above. |

to mikica: oh yes there is, but you probably dont know cuz ure only 13. the game came out for pc in May 2002 and since u were 7 when the game came out its no wonder u dont know it! The game ure probably speaking off is GTA liberty city stories which was released 4 november 2005 in Europe. and even then ure wrong since its for Playstation Portable and not for PS2 or PS3. U probably never have played GTA3 because then u would have known that GTA3 plays in a city called Liberty City. Liberty City Stories is different from GTA3, its a story of what happend in the 3 years before GTA3(GTA3 starts at the hospital and in liberty city stories u will find out what happend to him to get in hospital and lots of other stuff aswell ofc) |

to esheg4ever23: I had the same problem...Installed the game and couldn‘t hear any sounds other than someone talking to the main character...to fix it, I opened the GTA3 folder, opened the folder labeled "audio", selected all the files, then clicked on "tools" in the menu bar, chose "folder options", then chose "file types", and chose the "change" option at the bottom of the dialog box. Next, you need to choose "browse" and navigate to the GTA3 application icon and be sure to mark the "always use this option" box. Hit OK, and when you open the game the next time, all audio will work. |

this game works absolutely fine, apart from the issue of there being no radio stations. BUT this can be easily solved using your own music, go into the game folders and there is one called ‘mp3‘ inside there is just a .txt. file. now simply copy a selection of your favorite tunes into this folder and then when you play the game and get in a car there will be a radio station called MP3 PLAYER, and bam! you have game music, that you chose aswel! almost better than the radio stations realy.
NOTE. the files you copy in MUST be in mp3 format, it will not play wma‘s m4a‘s anythin like that. and it was also play in alphabetical order so if you want them to play in certain order, number them. hope that helps everyone! |

This Game Works GREAT!! no installation.. for those who can not get it work, either get a better PC or dont bother... the GAME does NOT have a virus, for those who think they had gotten a virus on this game, WRONG. you dont have to download ANYTHING!! you just download the torrent file and BOOM just click the icon and it goes. The only Thing i have to say that sucks is that, when it goes into a mission, the graphics are scratchy, and the radio music in the car doesnt work.. Other then that GREAT GAME thanx!! |
