for those of u who dont know how to open the .rar00 - etc... double click the 00 must have winrar installed though, it will read the files in sequence and make sure to extract it before viewing. |

I‘m guessing that there‘s an Image file that has been compressed using Winrar. Sometimes you actually have to open Winrar and manually browse to a file to extract what has been compressed instead of simply right-clicking in Windows Explorer.
I see an NFO file. In case you don‘t know this is typically where instructions are stored. You can either open it with Notepad or install "DamnNFO" to read it. I assume people use NFO to hide the instructions from prying eyes. I prefer software to have been compressed with some Recovery data added so I know errors haven‘t snuck in. |

no you dont have to extract all of the files just rzr-gowa.001 i usually scan it 1st then right clk and clk ‘extract here‘ i use winrar, if you dont have it then just download it. its the samne for all zipped up files such as this one. just un zip the 1st one. i havent d/l‘d it yet so cant help with installation but i guess it will be image files i.e. (mds.mfs.iso.) if so mount it with a program called daemon tools there is a totally free lite version. that will create the file into a virtual disc drive. install it from there. RAZOR are very good there will be a folder with a crack in and sometimes a key generator. with the crack copy it. goto your desktop icon for the game right clk get properties and hit find target. there you should find a file with the same name as the crack you just copied. all you have todo now is right click in the folder and hit paste. if you have done correctly it will ask u if you want to replace‘filex‘ with ‘filex‘ and you just click yes. now if all is well double click on your desktop icaon and you should be playing. tah dah @ GILLSORIANO dont take the piss these guys are asking for are help you f‘in knowit all and i know for a fact that you had to learn from somewhere so dont take the piss and help them. i dont know. maybe i‘m doing somthing wrong but i cant get this to work. no image to mount,and i‘ve tried extracting the .00 file using winwar but i didnt get any results that led anywhere. i dont know, I‘ve downloaded the game from another site that was the exact same name but it was an actual .iso file, not all this crazy sh#, so i just mounted using daemon tools and the game is perfect. So i suggest downloading from another source, they are everywhere. |

Alright, it works! this is how you do it:
1. Download the bloody torrent obviously!...its big, it took me a while 2. There are a tone of these rzr-gowa file things, so you need WINRAR to be able to extract them, so google it, and download WINRAR, they give a free one, so use that...i noticed, that WINRAR didn‘t recognize the file as being compatible with it, so when i clicked on the rzr-gowa file, it asked for a program to open it with: select a program from a list, and choose WINRAR and it will open up...if it doesnt then just click on the rzr-gowa file which has been set to open with WINRAR...and extract to where you want it! 3. MAKE SURE YOU EXTRACT the rxr-gowa.001 FIRST, since that is the first one 4. Now, you need a software called Daemon tools, inorder to MOUNT the ISO file that has been extracted (its about 7+GB), so if you don‘t have it download it...i tried downloading it from the Daemon website, but could get it to work, so i tried another website and it worked fine...its called Daemon Tools Lite: that is the newest one... 5. Now that you have it, mount the ISO file on the Daemon Tools, by clicking on the tray icon and selecting to mount an image...select the ISO file... 6. It will open up and act like the installation CD! be smart here, and just follow the installation instructions... 7. after it is done, you need to install the crack! this is found on the mounted ISO file that you have created...open your computer and open the Gears of War cd icon...basically open Gears of War, not the game, but the files...fuck it, you know what i mean! so there is a folder called "Razor", copy the file called "setup" and paste it into YOUR Gears of War file that should be in your Program Files, or wherever you installed game...you need to paste the "setup" in the "BINARIES" folder...it ask you if you want to replace the previous setup.exe, and of course, you say "YES"...if it doesnt ask you then you are not putting it in the right folder... 8. Now you are done, just make sure you open the new setup when you want to start the game, and not the default shortcut on the desktop...delete that and make a new shortcut from the NEW setup you just pasted! 9. Open and play the game! 10. you DO NOT need a CD KEY to save the game in Single Player mode...just create an acount, in the game, and it will work, it worked for me... Alright, i hope this is helpful to alot of people out there! If the game doesnt work, then you suck, go to hell, and not even GOD can help your noobish butt... Cheers MAD MAX |

played for a few mins. seems to be working and i haven‘t noticed a virus. didn‘t crash on me or anything. installation can be hard to set up. ganna have to rename all the files in this format:
rzr-gowa.001.r00 rzr-gowa.001.r01 rzr-gowa.001.r02 rzr-gowa.001.r03 rzr-gowa.001.r04 if your computer doesn‘t know these are rar files you will have to change the extension on them then rename each file to the text i posted here. if the extension changes to "r30" file at the 30th rar file leave it alone and move on to the next one. its normal. hope my mini guide help with the confusing way this was put together. the crack is in the folder named "razor1911" on the iso image and the file that needs to be pasted is "startup.exe" paste that into the Binaries folder in your gears of war folder in program files. click on that, if a gears of war window shows up you did everything currectly and you can now play the game. by the way. you don‘t need a cd key to create an account to save the game. |

hi! I have a problem with this game, i never had any problems but this game is not works on my PC, wargame-g4wlive.exe You cannot run the game with modified executeable code. Please reinstall the game.
I downloaded, installed and i replaced the crack (startup) file. And not works! After I reinstalled used a several crack files from gamecopyworld and other sites but it still not working, the message is same! What i need to do??? |

ok well i extracted it, mounted the iso, installed it, then i copied the crack from the iso to the binaries folder and it still doesn‘t work, what am i doing wrong? |

It looks like i fucked it up, i used hjsplit to join the files and then got 1 file which i opened with winrar and now when i try to extract it sayse it cant be extracted without rzr-gowa.r00. And since i was low on hd space i erased all those little files before i even tried extracting the rar file. What do i do now? Please tell i dont have to download the whole game again. |

hey ppl..its working..just extract..mount and install..(most f"ing long installation i have seen in my life).after that go to the image and find the razor1911 folder in that is a file name startup something..copy it and go to the GOW folder and paste it inside the binaries folder and replace it..also due to its shitty certification issue u need to set the date to anytime in yr 2008...also don‘t forget to install the latest xlive redistributable package which u can download from mincrosoft |

For anyone with the create gamer profile problem, click on the bottom of the screen (down a bit where you can‘t even see) and you will bring up the Live signin screen. There you can create a single player profile play the game with a customized keyboard, save your progress, etc. |
