dont listen to 1rover1, he‘s a freaking jerk-off (and thanks to koala12) of course you need codecs to watch downloaded videos, its one of the first things you learn about downloading videos from the internet a-hole!
If you need codecs you can use the k-lite codec pack (just do a google search on it() or just play the file by downloading the vlc player (it has most codecs already with it and is a nice player, you just would have to watch most of your videos on the vlc player...) |

xvid is a specific free, standard codec .. .google it donnt install codec packs ... waste of time what else is in the pack?, oh xvid == divx backwards:) .. . .. uncompressed 1 hour of vid would be about 40GB (dvd video uses mpeg-2 compression .. .another compression method) |

For mark197925, don‘t use nero this will always happen with it, Don‘t know why.
Try "Easy mpeg avi divx to dvd. It is the only one that has given me consistent results, the picture can sometimes contain some artifacts but nothing to worry about. |

Somehow I cant play the file. Just gets and error. And belive me, ive tried with the classic player. And I got alot of codecs (k-lite codec too). Xant convert it either since it does not understand the file. Anyone that can help? |
