Crashes every 5-30min. From what I‘ve read it‘s probably a glitch in the game they haven‘t patched yet or a conflict with the system since it is unpacked rather than properly installed. But otherwise great, nowadays I just search skullptura and download whatever he‘s put out! |

This is the real game. No virus. No problems.
An MD5 hash for the rar file is: 32F3234B9483129EC4182CCE2BC656C4 I had a problem with the game exiting after each map. I entered the video card settings and disabled multicore cpu support. It resolved the problem. You cannot natively play online and you shouldn‘t expect to. I don‘t appreciate how the files are packaged and the custom "Installer", however the game works fine. Good job. |

Look for the game .exe in the folder where you ran setup.bat. Its called left4dead and has a pretty red and white icon, allegedly making it hard to miss.

As far as I can tell it‘s good but even on the lowest setting my computer can‘t handle it ‘cause all I have is a graphic accelerator not an actual card so the game is extremely patchy and slow for me especially when the hordes come. It‘s definitely a good download though. My third Skullptura download out of three that worked like a charm. |

I have a problem with the sound.... EVERYTHING WORKS FINE EXCEPT IT.. When I‘m playing only outdoor, the sound becames buzzy and I can‘t hear a thing, but when I‘m indoor, it disappears... I can hear voices and monsters clearly..... Any idea? |

It‘s well compressed so quick download, runs fine but couldn‘t be bothered to fuck about changing internet settings with Hamachi to play with people online, online is what games are all about, so I uninstalled it.
kekkett if you don‘t know yet, UAC is that thing that keeps popping up asking you to confirm everytime you open something, google it for disable, I forgot how because I went back to XP- so much faster, more simple and everything is compatable with it- use XP if you can until Windows 7, Vista is a heavyweight waste of time nothing but problems and incompatability issues with it |

Guys if you are worrying about viruses then dont , this is a great download and is the full real game , i have downloaded it but sadly my laptop was not fast enought to play the game so it was very laggy but other people who have computers or better laptops than me may work great , skullptura great guy man , there are some idiots out there who put viruses on the internet but you put the real stuff , thanks man :) make sure you get call of duty modern warfare 2 |

Let me just clear up that I can run it fine too:
8gb pc8500 q9550 OC at 3.8(stable) Radeon HD 4870 X2 When it crashes I recieve no error message it simply closes, and again I have disabled the multicore setting. |

works perfectly. It will randomly crash sometimes though, but i havn‘t tried disabling the multicore w/e yet and it rarley ever does it anyway. But basically all those people saying its low quality and runs rlly slow: get a new computer. Mine played it perfectly while installing i tunes and downloading 15 other torrents. Anyway, basically saying this torrent is legit. |

After installing/unzipping it says to use the icon on an desktop, but there is no icon, no exe in the game folder, nowhere. Cant run it. Dont know if it‘s Vista or what, but the installer could be better... Will have to download full version I guess... |

Good torrent as a whole 8/10. Skull, nice rip and works nice under a 32 bit OS. Under 64 bit Vista versions, even when you disable UAC, the batch file can have difficulties installing, not simply due to UAC issues. If you have the time, you may want to re-code the batch script and how it identifies the different OS types and their respective install directories. Works great under 32 bit.
For the noobs, the general trend is for ppl to package their files in what is called 7zip format. This is freeware, you don‘t need a torrent site to get to it, and its compacts a large amount of data in a small space. Leave it to the linux community to put all the software vendors to shame:) I also read on here someone who did not know what UAC is. Its a form of account control in Vista that prevents that copying of certain file types. You can disable it easily and it will make your life with Vista far more enjoyable. Simply google ‘disable uac vista‘ and there are a plethera of results. Long live freedom of choice:) |

Go into graphics settings and look for the option ticked "enable multicore cpu support" disable this and the game WILL NOT crash anymore...I had the same problem its not stopped it dead |

I recant, make sure you do disable UAC, to do so open your start menu and type "System" into the search bar, you should see System Configuration, go to that and go to the "Tools" tab and scroll down to "Disable UAC", highlight it and press "Launch", when the window pops up it is done, now just restart and then install the game the way it says to in the "Read Me".
After install is complete just go back to System Config and highlight and launch "Enable UAC" and restart for it to take effect. If you are crashing, do as everyone else is saying and disable the Multicore support if you only have a single core processor. |
