small problem in case u have comodo‘s firewall since it causes problems with the k/b and freezes the game...u need to have it deactivated to run...still it has no problems with zone labs suite / avg-antivirus free edition or eset‘s NOD32 (tested in all in different pc‘s :):) - have a good game time and thank the people who uploaded this :) |

This is a Booster2 release ( that‘s me ofcourse ;) ).
1. You will need Daemon-Tools/MagicDisc installed to mount/install the game. 2. When installed, unmount the game, install first the Patch. 3. Copy the crack file and go to the destinated folrder of Max Payne and replace the original file with the crack file. 4. Play the game. NB! Solution 1: (For those who use Windows Vista) If the audio doesn‘t work properly read this from Creative (ONLY for Sound Blaster users): http://www.soundblaster.com/alchemy/ Solution 2 (Windows Vista users only): For those who doesn‘t have Sound Blaster card should download a "Max Payne Vista Fix" from Mininova.org. Serach for Max Payne Vista Fix and follow the instruction. |

You have to crack the game by using the crack file. Copy the crack file and go to your destinated game folder and replace the original with the crack. Remember to install the Patch first if you haven‘t done that. |

i tried to mount max payne 2 files like the first disc intalls then this msg comes up please insert disc 2 that contains the file data3.cas.but when select to install disc 2 another msg comes up saying setup could not find a file on the specified path or disc,please make sure the proper disc is inserted or specify new path. can you help me understand what i have to do? |

If I understand the problem: When you first open Disc 1 to install MP2, it‘ll ask for Disc 2 when it has finished Disc 1. You unmount Disc 1 and then mount Disc 2 and you continue (without closing the install-window). The Disc 3 is for "Play" (but you have to burn it on a disc to run it because the game is kindo of depended by using a disc if you don‘t use/haven‘t used the crack). |

It‘s only optional. I could not just upload the two install disc and leave the Play disc without any reason. Or else people are going to wonder.
Do this following: 1. Install Deamon-Tools or MagicDisc (It‘s a Virtual CD/DVD drive to mount image files) 2. After the install of Daemon-Tools/MagicDisc, rightclick on Daemon-Tools/MagicDisc on the Tray icon and choose "Virtual CD-/DVD-Rom" etc. to mount 3. The game will be ready to install (if it pops up though). 4. When Max Payne has been installed, unmount the game from Daemon-Tools/MagicDisc. 5. Install the Patch called " Max Payne 2 Patch v1.01 " and after that take the crack file called " MaxPayne2 " that followed the game you downloaded and place it in the destinated folder of Max Payne 2. Replace the original with the crack file. 6. Play the game. |

It does work on Vista x64. You have to go to the CD‘s directory and open it from the "Setup" file instead using the "Autorun" mode. |

i have no sound during the graphic novel type cut scene‘s on the first game! i have sound during the game itself but not during the narration part or at the beginning when the helicopter is flying over the city and the cop cars are driving down the street, should there be sound during these parts? its been so long since i played this game i honestly can‘t remember!
