I have a problem when i come to step "installing upadates". Then it shows an error(0x80070017) and explains that some files on DVD are missing or corrupt (D:Sources to C:WINDOWS.~LSSources). It also says that everything installed won‘t be saved. Did I download or burned the file the wrong way? Please help!

I can confirm this does update to SP1. Extract files to a location using winrar and it becomes an iso. Use poweriso to burn that image to a dvd at the slowest burn speed. Pop the disk in, reboot, and vista is loading. |

This works great! I had to download winrar to extract the .rar file. Once I did that, I had to download magiciso and burn the .iso image. I did the burn at the lowest speed, and after that it installed perfectly. |

if you are doing a complete intall there isn‘t a problem but if you are just doing an upgrade, then it says on the first reboot, it asks for the BOOTMNG file, but you are unable to restart the system so you have to do a full install otherwise good |

Looks like some people don‘t read most of the comments before posting another comment. From the comments I seen it looks like this should be 100% legitimate. I will try to explain how to install this as best as I can as I have not downloaded it myself and I am just going on what others said to make it as easy as possible. First you must use a burning software to burn the ISO image that should be in the extracted archive pieces once you have burned the copy you should have the cracks and patches and everything else on the DVD as they put it like that most of the time. After you have the DVD and you are plugging it in to install it you don‘t have to enter a key the first release of Windows that does not require one to be entered. Now after Windows Vista Ultimate is installed navigate on the DVD and find where the crack or patch is and open it and then you should have the full version of windows which is 100% genuine and you can download updates and other things as well. I hope this helps you all out a little. If you need any further help with this release well I guess you will just have to dig and find what you are looking for and maybe eventually get what you are needing. |

I Cannot Get It To Upgrade From Home Premium And, when i installed it, everytime i turned my laptop on, i had to choose whether i wanted home premium or ultimate, and ultimate would only go in 1024x1280 (or wot eva it is) i havent yet tried it on home computer, which is 1280x1024, that has Xp, so will that, ask my which one i want? because when it asked me on my laptop, i put in the manufacture restart disc, it is wiped clean, like the day i got it... I need upgrade, well i dont, but it would be nice, ... =[ |
