These are DVD rips. Quality is fine. Quality is exactly the same as all other rips out there, including those larger file rips that were excessively over-encoded. The show is 40 years old and this IS as good as the quality get. You want to bitch about the quality, then go bitch to the BBC, demand that they build a time machine, and have them go back to 1969 with modern digital cameras recording equipment to shoot the show with.
As for DigitalDistractions. Well, I will admit the short intro tag is a bit annoying and obnoxious (tho no where near as obnoxious as your comments). That said, it was a very well known/popular "group" (for lack of a better word) that had existed for years dedicated to making good quality archives of TV shows and providing torrents for the benefit of the public. Very respected amung the scene and viewers. It was a sad day a few years ago when he decided to stop his work, take the site down and went into hiding (probably legal issues). With all that said, I can only assume you two are either DMCA plants trying to discourage people from downloading this, else just ignorant. Either way, go away and stop spreading lies. |
