You recommend Norton Antivirus 2007.. Dude you must have been living on Mars since Symantec (Cement-tec) were the only company offering antivirus software. Once you‘ve realised that your system resources are suffering terribly you‘ll try to uninstall it and leave traces of that nasty product all over your computer.. in fact, they actually have a norton uninstaller on available for download just to get everything off! Then you‘ll read a few reviews and come to the conclusion that Kaspersky or Bitdefender are the best offerings available and so you‘ll install one of them.. again you won‘t be completely happy and so you‘ll do a little bit more research and find out that both of these "fine" pieces of software are scoring most of their review points because of a pretty user interface, a bundle including a very second rate firewall and a spyware remover and slick customer service (which you‘ll never have the opportunity to use anyway because you‘re downloading from slightly less than kosher resources) Finally you‘ll come to your senses after reading the incredible amount of praise in some of the better forums and will inspect this holy grail of virus information (The virus bulliten) just to make sure that what they‘re saying is true. Then you‘ll come right back here to good ol‘ btjunkie and download the finest piece of virus software ever made, NOD32! and Zonealarm pro and spysweeper (hell why not it‘s not going to cost much ;P) Or, you‘ll save yourself the process and just hit the download button now and never look at another piece of virus software ever again. Do yourself a favour, save yourself the trouble NOD32 is absolutely the best. |

The crack only makes the trial version good for a million days if you look at the info on the NOD32 gui. This isn‘t a full version and it won‘t let you delet the virus. It will show you where it is and what it is but the only option that works is leave. Delete, qauratine, and the others are greyed out.
But this virus scanner found 11 virus‘s that Kaspersky doesn‘t recognize as a virus. All were java cabs that were infected. Take it with a grain of salt. |

Not a full version. The crack doesn‘t enable the full version. It makes the trial last for a million days. It will find the virus‘s but won‘t delete them or let you delete them from inside the prog. You have to go thru the logs to see where they are and hope that you can delete them thru windows. |

To MajMunyShot - the crack does work and NOD32 WILL remove viruses. You just have to select "ScanRemove" instead of "Scan only"........ I guess this goes to show that the GUI isn‘t very user-friendly. The prog is excellent however, and well worth spending 5 minutes on exploring the GUI and what the buttons actually do. |

To octopusandchips....you my good man are wrong. If you read what I wrote. Even if you choose scane and clean hahahah not remove dumbass. It says scan and clean not remove. Never gave me any option to remove. When it does find it it will pop up a notice with the only option to leave it. Delete, qauratine, and the others are greyed out and do not work...can you read english? iT IS AN EXTENDED TRIAL. Yes it is a great prog but you sir are wrong. |

If you read the caption under the nod32fix.exe it even says "makes your trial version last forever" So it is a trial version octopud. learn to read.:0) Have a nice day!! |

hey Maj... some detected infected files couldnt be deleted,quarantined or whatever... bcoz their currently in use, very basic.try running the antivirus in safemode.another thing, the nod32 trial is a fully functional version... read it in their website.the only problem i have is that i downloaded a similar installer and a fix... when i tried to install it, my symantec enterprise edition detected a trojan.dropper in one of the generated files of the installer.this type of trojan,as explained in the symantec website,makes backdoors for trojan and worm attackers.anyways,will download this one and try if it has... |

ok... ive installed this one and so far, nothing was detected by the other AV. this one is clean. i guess the 2.51 repack or something has a trojan with it. and for the record... it works just fine :) |

sorry maj, your wrong on this one... nod32 trial is a fully functional version. for those files u say cant be deleted... guess u have to learn more about files that are currently being used by the system... and how to deal with them. |
