Works great!! Some antivirus detects the keygen as trojan or keylogger. Keygen works too, you just have to keep on trying to find the right one. Just have to warn you guys that it has conflict with Vista‘s DVD Maker but aside from that its perfect. |

wow... did you people realize that 90% of all cracks/key-gens are embedded with trojans.... and no retard, they arent benefitial, some just dont start working immediatly, VUNDO TROJAN is common and most worse, i‘ve got it twice from this kind of shit and had to wipe my hard drive to get rid of the bitch, cause it it goes into your registry, and just adds itself back to your computer the second your anti-virus deletes it. . |

DO NOT...repeat...DO NOT download or install. This package has been compromised and will screw up your registry, your ability to use Internet explorer in some cases, to burn dvd‘s properly, file associations, and will generate script errors with programs like winamp, etc. NERO 8 has also been compromised in similar fashion. You will need a program like WinXP Manager to correct all these errors I just listed. Scan your registry 3 to 4 times to remove completely all errors found. They just don‘t get it do they? Nature is all about balance and will always be in balance and where there‘s the will there‘s a way. |

Most software manufacturers put bullshit in the software much of which acts like trojans and especially malware, Spybot finds shit in "legitimate" programs all the time. But mainly nowadays most windows software opens about 6 goddamned modules at a time that you don‘t need that bog your computer down. Nero is no different. Nero has a bunch of shit that doesn‘t even work, like the burning software, I had to go back to sonic 5 I got with a computer in 2003 to burn shit because nowadays Roxio and the others are just big overgrown pieces of pure fucking shit that don‘t work. I only need Nero for making Iso‘s out of files and the virtual rom drives and sometimes the DVD movie maker, otherwise I use my old Sonic software, which is about a whole 5 mb big, and DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter, both free programs that fit on floppy disks and are the best goddamned dvd movie burners ever made. Itunes is the worst software because if you disable the shit it puts in the start menu, you can‘t ever restart it and you have to ubninstall and reinstall Itunes. All the PC and software makers are in cahoots to sell shit that is obsolete cuz they won‘t support it and want you to buy the newest version at a fake "discount" price and The PC makers are in on it too cuz when the software opens umpteen modules and bogs down the computer, it fools ignorant PC users into thinking their computer is too slow and they need a new, faster PC. |

Pirate releases generally come with viruses packaged in. It‘s to punish the knowledgeless. Also 90% of the time they are spoofs, A signature embedded to the keygen to scare people. Yes my virus scanner found it, But disabling the AV in a sandbox environment on my machine proved it to just be a false positive. |

Go to www.sandboxie.com and use that if you have such a problem using keygens. Sandboxie runs them in a virtual sandbox. If you dont know what that is, then put your helmet back on and put the socks back on your hands. |

OK - I read all the comments saw that most people in the know said not a virus/trojan, and most people who have no idea said it is a virus.
I bit the bullet and I downloaded this torrent. Before I installed i had a lot of issues getting rid of my original nero 7 30day demo version that I had previously tried to legitimately update and ended up completely fucked after the update. Totally crashed and wouldn‘t uninstall. (No Nero in Add/Remove programs - no Nero in Start/Programs) Worked out how to uninstall cleanly in the end - Yipee-the-fuck-ki-ay as bruce willis would say. Anyway I next scanned all files with legit version of zonealarm security suite pro and files didn‘t come up with any problems. Trojans? Viruses? Nothing..... So I installed ultra and it went ok. Then I did what the readme file said and deleted the serial and ran the keygen. It next told me to clear and regenerate the keygen about 8 or 9 times. I did this quite a number of times because it kept coming up with a different last 4 or 8 digits every time. Anyway I stopped that and cut and paste the serial into nero and finished the install. So far so good. Have not had one mention of trials ending or needing to purchase or anything. This is a fully functional working version, and has heaps of software bundled. It‘s grrrrreat. Fully satisfied. If I have any issues I‘ll repost but anyone worried about this just download and do what I did. I have looked for a nero keygen for quite some time and they have never worked. I never thought of looking on btjunkie until a few days ago. Glad I did. |

This works fine on my xp but my laptop running vista Nero keeps crashing. did uninstall/reinstall but won‘t run anymore. It worked for a while, maybe it tried to update, but I‘m sure I unchecked it from updating. Anyway thought you ought to know.
Also - to all those people who detect trojans and catagorically won‘t use it and tell other people to not use it.....your loss my friends. If you did a bit more research you might be able to work out that you don‘t always get trojans when your virus software tells you. I run full blown zonelabs security, and have firewall in my router, I have never had a virus and a couple of times I have had real trojans, but this download scanned clean for me. You might be getting false positives....... |

There is ONE thing you‘ve got to know RIGHT FROM THE FRONT. Nero (since the 1rst versions that I happened to use, back in the old days) NEVER EVER WORKED CORRECTLY. In each and every version there were problems of control in the DATA-FLOW, and this, with any system you would chose this software to run with. As far as I can remember, I always had to run specific little programs intended to burn this or that type of media, each and every time I had to backup any important DATA. ONE DAY, MAYBE, Nero will come back down to the CORE, and program a software intended ONLY to backup DATAs on various medias, and concentrate on the very essential of the subject (control of DATA flow to the burner, proper buffer calibration, and so on...). For the moment, Nero is only interested in selling you an awful lot of useless stuff that don‘t belong to DATA-Backup in the 1rst place. If you don‘t believe me, well, go to your local computer store, buy the latest release of this software, and install it. If, let‘s say after 3 months of intensive use of various DATA-Backup, you encounter absolutely NO PROBLEM (using the best medias, of course, VERBATIM for instance!!!), then you can reply to this little pamphlet and warn me that Nero has just released a STABLE version of it‘s software. In the mean time, why should you try to use a CRACKED version (full of viruses and who-knows-what-other-possible-shit) of a software that will basically FILL your dustbin with the medias that it has wasted ??? Lately, I‘ve been working for a client (small company), they had a CRASH problem, they needed to Backup and re-install... the poor guys got Nero to do the job... nothing worked... JUST NOTHING. I came with a few basic FREE stuff, and did the entire job in less than 1/2 of a day.
