Hi!
Right you dont have to install halo 2 just do as instructed below then double click on the setup reg in the halo folder run Halo2.exe I put together this guide for those who are stuck with the activation nag for halo 2 on winxp. 1. Simply put the "mf.dll" thats in the "SYSTEM32-folder" into your windows/system32-folder. instructions for vista users by Starga2er VISTA USERS will have to take ownership if the mf.dll file first right click properties on the mf.dll in the system32-folder then click the security tab then the advanced tab then on the advanced screen click on your user name then press edit again and then put a tick in full control then click apply ok you now have ownership of the file. and can copy the new mf.dll file into the windowssystem32 folder....hope this helps you all good luck...///Starga2er. 2. it removes the first "insert original CD" screen but there is another one far away into the game (After geting the index part).are there any more surprises? I‘ve played for about 2 and a half hours last night, AND IT DIDN‘T SAVED MY PROGRES after that screen(because i couldn‘t do shit)!!!!!!! 2 and half hour wasted!!! Fuckin‘ Microsoft with their fuckin Vista programs/games shit!! Is there something i can do about that?am i missing somethig? When was this game released for the PC, was it recently? Isn‘t ther a nice .iso with a nice crack/patch out there? |

don‘t waste your time.
Download [PC]Halo 2 -dopemans version -with everything you need -Edox this fix is part of the readme first.txt file. Follow instructions. There was a small problem. Don‘t alter the XP Play Halo 2.bat file. Read my comment on that torrent Game works great |
