hey all, i have put this on disk, got half way through the install and its asking for a product code. can someone tell me where this is please. i have looked through all readable files but maybe missed it...

Have you looked in the .nfo file? Simply open it with notepad. |

THeir file says to close the auto run installer that pops up and use their installer in the Vitality file, so i‘ll try that and let you know... |

I copied all the files and run the vitality installer, I choose a directory to extract the files and when I click ENTER it says : Cannot unpack installer
So if anyone got an idea it ‘ll very helpfull thanks |

If your having problems with ‘dxsetup.eve‘ make sure to check your C drive for a new folder called ‘Program‘. It will be unpackaged to there if you have spaces in the name of the folder you told it to unpack to- eg ‘Silent Hill‘, instead of ‘Silent_Hill‘.

No code is needed.
Mount .iso, open my computer, open DVD drive with SH iso, open vitality folder, and run install.exe (Vista users might want to (right click) run as administrator, to avoid problems). No steam. No code. And it works. At least for me. |

For all those with the ‘Cannot unpack installer‘ problem running on windows vista, simply right click the .exe and ‘run as administrator‘, then it works! Testing atm, will report back. |

Run vitality as admin in vista then select C: to extract the files....
NB: I would creat a dir to extract the files first then choose that dir to extract them... just found out all files are in my root |

Ok.... If you have Windows XP this is what you should do. First you need WinRar. When you have it downloaded, run the setup.exe first and it will ask you for a keycode. Then you close that and run the install.exe from the Vitality. If it doesnt work the first time try a second time and it should work. Extract it to your documents folder if you want to and everything should work fine. |

Vista People! I have Vista and here‘s what I did. After downloading the files, I unpacked the .iso file and installed steam. after that, run installation with the .exe in the vitality folder AS AN ADMINISTRATOR. (right click- "Run as administrator") It will install where you tell it to, and then it will say it has some sort of direct x error. Go to the file location of the actual game .exe file. Type in the file location and put a space after the ".exe" and then put "-dx9". After hitting enter, the game should work from then on. |
