I am new to downloading video files, but every file that I
have downloaded is about 700-800MB and it takes 8-12 hours to download. I was reading some of the comments where people said they were downloading movies in 1-3 hours. Is this correct and what do I need to do to speed up my download time? Any help would be apriciated. THANKS |

brlockridge ...come on what do you think ? do you think that even if you got a k56 modem ( lol ) - that you can download as fast as the man with 10/10 fx huh ? for me i get a movie divx in about 30 min but i also pay for it by having a fast connection |

check the firewall for ur router...must got blocked.if blocked search google for how to open the port.good luck |

Slow connection? open up!
With utorrent: Ctrl-G and check your speed and port settings. For the best results, you have to configure your firewall (router). Open (forward) a port for your torrent client. http://www.utorrent.com/faq.php#Why_are_my_torrents_going_so_slow.3F |

@ brlockridge: furst u need BitComet. its the best i think (ive used Azureus, BitComet, and UTorrent and BitComet is the best!) and u need to check yout NAT. make sure it is not blocked and be positive u have forwarded ports correctly. my email is Dlux427@gmail.com i can help u with this if u want. |

Rowena Price is a muckraking reporter for a New York paper.
