Some people like to burn movies to CD. CD‘s can hold 700 MB so the person who creates the files divides the movie into 2 files, making each file less than 700 MB. Around 1300 MB total is considered a nice compromise because it‘s big enough to be of reasonable quality, but small enough to not impact your hard drive too badly. |
