wargokul dont bother, your not likely going to get 4 MBps download rate(if you can even reach that)
If you are getting 1 big joined file, its incorrect. Here are the proper steps for downloading: 1. Download 2. There is no .rar so right click on rzr-prot.001 and choose extract here with winrar (not reccommended) or Go to www.extractnow.com for a program that will extract these sort of files perfectly. Open program, choose directory containing rzr-prot.001 and it will make you the iso file. 4. Mount or Burn (onto poweriso or magiciso,ect, any image program except winzip(that can support iso) 5. I think you know the rest, Enjoy! |

You would need 4gb ram and a geforce 9600 gfx card at least...Not sure about ATI tho. Also you need a processor speed of at least 6000 intel duo processor. I only deal with intel sry....for peeps with AMD processors. Basically how your pc runs GTA4, prototype will run the exact same. |

I have reinstalled the game about 3 other times and checked the torrent to make sure it was downloaded properly and then re-extracted the ISO to make sure it did that properly and i still have the squarely voice problem. anyone know if the game uses certain codex or OpenAL32 or something along thous lines. Maybe some of that could be conflicting with the sound playback? |

@Toozaizi go mount it, then go to My Computer, it should say "Prototype" and then a hard drive. right click this and press explore. at the top it should say Razor1911 and go into that folder and copy the prototypedf file into the C://Program Files/Activision/Prototype folder. Press yes when it says do u wish to replace the file. after that open the prototype game using that file instead of the original and it should work |

programs needed 7zip and PowerISO (you can get them both here in Btjunkies) very simple. Unzip the 001 and get ISO and then mount ISO to a Virtual drive using PowerISO. click setup, when setup is complete open Razor folder that‘s on the ISO. Copy crack to c:programfiles/activision/prototype folder. double click on crack and play. unless you system is slow and retarded. I run on windows 7. best windows ever. 7FTW |

Ok, first i would uninstall the game... than update directx, i think the latest version is 9.26, than update your video card, you didnt say anything about your video card, but u can go to their website and update it, than install the game and see if that fixes it. if that doesnt work, than i found this website that might help...

http://ahkong.net/prototype-sound-fix/ I had some problems initially- this site helped me fix them- i wasnt getting any sound at all. extract below Prototype Sound Fix Summary
1. Open the file [ ..Prototype00audio.rcf ] via ScarfaceExplorer. (http://www.xentax.com/downloads/tools/hosted/john_doe/extraction/scarexplorer10 .zip) 2. Extract files into the [ ..PrototypeAudio ] folder. 3. Rename [ ..PrototypeAudioaudioambience.p3d ] into something else. 4. Rename [ ..Prototype00audio.rcf ] into something else. 5. Select all files and folders (Ctrl A) in the [ ..PrototypeAudioaudio ] folder. 6. Cut all files and folders (Ctrl X) in the [ ..PrototypeAudioaudio ] folder. 7. Paste them in the [ ..PrototypeAudio ] folder. also do this with the 01audio.rcf file (extract it i mean) 8. Start Prototype and play the game without any sound issues. |

Ok I really would appreciate it if someone had the time to help me. I can‘t get the game to run. It runs than says something about an error with the CD. Says wrong CD inserted please insert the Prototype CD. I Don‘t know what to do and I am not sure what copy the crack ment? Any help? Is this my problem? I havn‘t messed with the crack yet |

ok...inside the ISO there is a folder called Razor1911, in that folder there is one file called prototypef.exe, extract that file... copy that file to the installation directory... by default it is C:Program FilesActivisionPrototype... and that should work... |

well sorry i dont know whats wrong, try reinstalling the game and cut and paste the file right away, dont try to start the game, its very precise if you dont do it correctly it wont work. it worked for me so i hope that helps |

VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! To everyone having issue with the audio, you simply need to change your audio settings to 48000 HZ. Do this by going to control panel, hardware and sound, sound, speakers, properties, advanced tab, click on the drop down menu and scroll to 24 bit 48000 hz ( studio quality). That should fix any problem that you may have |

For Instal do this :
1 . Open the downloaded folder 2. right-click on rzr-prot.001 --open -- choose the progr from a list-- and choose WINRAR . 3. will apear a folder from winrar and drag the image to desktop. 4. mount the image. 5. install! hope it works :| xoxo |

Is a 256mb graphics card fast enough to properly run this game? According to the games for windows website my computer has more than enough hardware to run prototype except the graphics card, for which my computer has the bare minimum. When i ran prototype it was extremelyl slow and laggy, did i do something wrong? Or do i need to upgrade to a 512mb video card? |

For 1ntr0ubl3 and anyone else that doesn‘t know how to install this game, here are some step by step instructions:
1. Download and install some kind of virtual mounting software, Daemon Tools for example 2. Download and install extractnow, which will put the game into an iso 3. Download the game itself 4. Open extractnow and dragdrop the file named rzr-prot.001 into the window. Ignore the other files, but don‘t delete them. When it is done you should have in iso image of the game 5. Mount the image using Daemon Tools or whatever mounting software you are using. 6. If the install screen doesn‘t come up automatically, you can get to it through windows explorer, just like you would if there were a physical disk in your disk drive 7. Install the game 8. If you try to run it and it says to insert the correct disk, follow the instructions left by hellionz Hope this helps |

This is weird, i‘ve extrated/mounted file and image etc. but there is no directory on im hard drive, the only place that i can find a place to crack is on the virtual drive but its a read only file. I reinstalled it and made sure i picked the program files directory but it wasnt there after my installation. I‘ve gotten plenty of games to work and this is the only one im having a problem with.
