Let me just add a giant WTF to these lame file formats. Just use ISO! If it has subchannel data use something that everybody has. All of these daa files and whatever this is are just lame. |

UIF stands for "Universal Image Format" developed by MagicISO who then somehow neglected to make it available to any of the many *universal* imaging software producers who cater for most of the vastly accepted image formats which MagicISO has also delighted in catering for. So much for *Universal.
That said, I think the latest releases of the more sensible producers, namely UltraISO, have managed to tap into the UIF nonsense which was surely no more efficient than all the other notable formats out there. Obviously the motive behind the UIF glitter was purely to round up some dollars from the uninitiated. So, Magic really only tricked itself, and disappeared into a cloud of its own smoke, lingering only in the minds of the poor unfortunates. Wot, do I head someone say - PowerISO? (daa, another gurkoff). One of these cliquey formats, forget which, was sooooooo pooooowerful that all you have to do is change the extension in order to use it with everyday products. Wow.... |

No problems. Scanned w/ AVG (latest defintions) and found not Trojans or Virus‘s. No problems installing the program. I also did what IceManTX suggested and the registration banner no longer appears. I also used Magic Iso Maker and had no problems. Thanks guys. |

I‘ve been using MagicISO for a couple years and have never successfully opened a .uif image file with it. I‘ve always used something else. If MagicISO developed it, then they neglected it as well. |

here‘s a way to convert uif to iso without using magiciso/poweriso. because being me i hate installing extra apps that i really only use one feature of.

Highly suggest using uif2iso converter. It‘s free, open-sourced, and don‘t require an installer. Just extract the executable then drag the .uif file to it to extract. |
