I need help people. For some reason I cant get the info file to open. It tells me to open the help and info program that comes with windows. For some reason I don‘t have that.
Some of the files in this download are ‘unknown file type‘. Can someone tell me how to get this film onto a disk? Thanks people! |

Also, for my education, can anyone tell me why torrents are often in this format. It doesn‘t seem much smaller for all the compression and, I would have thought that, a single (even uncompressed)file would be far easier to work with.

this movie is compressed with WinRAR.. download and install it, then right click on CD1/spiral-rat-a.rar and select WinRARExtract Here.. It‘s compressed in many parts because, if the torrent has no seeders so you can‘t download all parts.. you can download the remaining parts with a P2P software or similar.. |

On my download all files numbered 30 or over were unknown files. I added the .rar file extension to these files and they looked fine. However, when I tried extracting all the files, every one of them were corrupted. Maybe I had an unlucky download. But it was a waste of download time for me. Some commenting here say this file is fine. All I can do is report my experience with this file. It‘s up to you. |

you shudnt change the extensions sweetheart... if you do it, it ll show corrupt...coz the split rar files gotta be the way they are... you change the extensions, it wont extract... if you see this comment, please go to the church and seek salvation... :) |

The problem was that all files numbered r30 and over, in folder‘s CD1 and CD2 had no extention at all. They just came up as ‘unknown filetype‘. Windows could not identify them neither could it find an answer on the web. These files were identical in size to all the other ones. And when I added the .rar extention they opened and did contain .avi files. So, what do you suggest I should have done and how can someone open a file that is ‘unknown filetype‘. The problem was not me adding a file extention to these files but that they had no filetype in the first place. As I said, I may have had a bad download. But even the first 30 files in each folder were ‘corrupted‘. Thanks for taking the time to tell me off anyway. Take care torocornutotre. |
