RESOLUTION RATING : 5/10.
AUDIO RATING : 5/10. MOVIE " PIECE OF MIND " : 4/10. I am a big fan of the show and I KNEW that it would be a mistake to revive the show by making a movie, after so many years. For one thing, the acting is soooo bad and so corny....it‘s like you can really tell that the four actresses haven‘t really spoken much to each other since the show ended, and this is their last attempt to get into the limelight bc their careers pretty much " died " after the show. So, the acting is extremely contrived and just plain corny. The movie doesn‘t have that " chutzpah " or that " oomph " that the show had...but maybe it simply is bc the show is now outdated and new shows have come into the scene, thus making " Sex and the City " rather dry. The movie is just TERRIBLE. I stopped it halfway. |

This is a great movie, got the same torrent off a diff. website. The only extra scenes are an addition to there little fashion show in Carrie‘s closet, a Trick ‘or‘ Treat scene with Lily, Harry, Carrie, and Charlotte, a phone call between Samantha and Carrie, and a phone call between Stanford and Carrie. quality was very good; movie was not. it had its moments, but otherwise seemed too forced. women used to watch the show because the characters were fashionable but--more importantly--you could also learn from their experiences. besides carrie being depressed in the hotel, the romance experiences they had in the movie were too fake in my opinion. |

AUDIO RATING : 10/10 MOVIE " PIECE OF MIND " : 6/10. I don‘t know if I have outgrown " Sex and the City " or this movie just simply ruined whatever pleasant memory I had of the show, when it ended. The ending in the show was just PERFECT...it left the audience at a point where they were satisfied...but to bring it back and rehash it in a movie, is just wrong. Even worse : In reality, the actresses don‘t really get along and have gone through different, separate paths...and you can see it in the acting. The acting is so contrived, so dramatic, so overwhelming that it‘s actually CORNY. It didn‘t have the " oomph " or the " natural wit " that the show had. I stopped it halfway bc I felt like I was watching a very long, boring, fashion show. |

tsp - make sure ur firewall isn‘t interfering with whatever program ur using. i use bitcomet 1.04 (which i recommend) and it was slow when i first started using it. i finally figured out the reason to be my listening port was blocked. that was a long time ago so i couldn‘t tell you exactly how exactly to fix it, but your ‘listen port‘ is basically what allows you to upload, which in turn usually increases your DL speed. i‘m not sure how other progs work, but bitcomet allows you more resources at different uploaded byte benchmarks... so the more you seed, total, the better your chance at a higher speed.
outside the program, your problem could be router based. if its got too much it-shay (other comps, xbox, ps3, etc.) connecting to the internet through it, DL speed could be affected. i play halo online a lot and my DL speed sucks when i am. you‘ll also get a better speed if your comp is hardwired to the router as opposed to wireless connections. if you know all this, sorry, but it took me fooooooooooreeeeeeeeeeever to figure this shit out on my own so i felt it necessary to relay that info, hopefully preventing somebody from waiting two days for their 700 MB avi to download. long live torrents! and go redskins! |
