You will need the crack. Get SolidWorks 2008 the real Serial Crack. After that worked like a charm. Just drag the dll file into thw solidworks file in (program files) it will get rid of the 30 day trial. |

This Works! you don‘t need to DL another crack. Instructions included aren‘t as clear as they could be. First I extracted the files to a temp folder using PowerIso, then open the PlanetMaster MsInfo Doc with Notepad.
There you get your basic instuctions. When you dbl click on setup.exe I got an error where it could find msetup. You have to tell it where it is by clicking on browse and looking in setup/i386/ and click on msetup. This should let you install. keep following instructions and the next snag I had was the crack. After copying ibfs32.dll to C:WINDOWSsystem32, copy sw_d.lic to "C:Program FilesSolidWorks as well as sw2008 registration entries. Go to program filessolidworks and double click on sw2008 and say OK and thats it! Haven‘t tried it on Vista, I have XP Pro but it works perfect. |

At the end of SolidWoks installation (before the upgrade to SP3) when I try to run the program the following error appears: Cannot find license file. (-1,359,2). Operating system is Vista 32bit.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Vincet10- Dude, download "Solidworks 2008 SPO multilingual incl serial crack" quick easy crack, works great on vista x32. I cracked this one your trying on xp with no problem, but its can be a pain on vista. You can download orca to change the launch condition of the install application for x64 vista. LINK:http://xinyustudio.wordpress.com/2008/05/05/install-solidworks-on-vista-x64 / . This may work with this crack, but I found it wasn‘t even worth trying. Use multiligual torrent and open text docs. for instructions serial (same serial as this one I think). If I remember right, just run install app. in swii folder, then copy crack dll. into program files/solidworks and your done. |

ok i have a unique problem i guess
i got the program to install fine and it boots up and opens and functions and after about 10 minutes of use i get "the blue screen of death" with an error that reads bad_pool_header...any ideas on how to fix this or if i did something wrong???? |

ccolagio: uninstall solidworks and reboot. You may have to do this in safe mode. The BSOD is usually a memory,driver,dll,etc. problem. Bad pool header means you have conflicting drivers. Follow my instructions in previous post on downloading Solidworks Multilangual. It is a much easier and cleaner install. |

ccolagio: I have used this sp3 torrent and the multilangual sp0 and have yet to notice a difference (its just a slight upgrade I believe). Cosmos seems to work fine in sp0. Completely remove all components of this sp3 torrent if you decide to DL sp0 torrent. Did you fix your BSOD? |

For those of you having "Cannot find license file (-1,359,2)" problem.
It happened to me because my windows XP doesn‘t have a ‘program files‘ folder as it isn‘t the english version. So in order to make solidworks work after successful instalation here‘s what you need to do: 1-follow instructions for the ‘ibfs32.dll‘ and the ‘sw2008.reg‘ as stated in planetmaster.nfo file 2-go to C: and create a new folder, name it as ‘Program Files‘, then open it and create again a new folder named as ‘SolidWorks‘. 3-Go to ‘PlanetMaster Full‘, copy ‘sw_d.lic‘ and paste it inside ‘SolidWorks‘ folder you just created. This is how I‘ve done and everything is working smooth. Hope it works to you too. Cumprimentos a todos. |

thanks for the download, but it seems the only way i can make solidworks run is if i turn off my mcafee antivirus, that way i don‘t have the same problem as sqnatx179 is having, cause it automatically deletes the license file cause it thinks its a trojan file masking itself as a legitimate file. any input would be greatly appreciated. i really don‘t want to turn off or get rid of my mcafee software. |

hey everyone
I need someone help, I live in South Africa and is in urgent need of this program, we used it at university, and now i want to use it in my classroom just to give the kids a better idea of solids. My problem is the school cant afford the software, and because of the internet cost on this side, its to expensive to download it and would take a few weeks. Hi I did download but can‘t install it the ibfs32.dll where to see info for direction it‘s all wording in different language? then I did make program files/solidwork/copy paste the ibfs32.dll,swreg.,swdl.but when I click the setup it doesn‘t install looking for resources DLL and some error 1154 something don‘t know what‘s that? Any other advice ? |

solution: edit sw2008.reg file using notepad. change the location of your solidworks installation problem 2: English_i386_SolidWorks.Msi is missing solution: the file is in ‘SolidWorks 2008 Office Premium Install.iso‘. Find it yourself. |

"Error 1335. The cabinet file ‘winnt0.cab‘ required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package." I hit ‘Ignore‘ and then get "Error 2350.FRI server error." This installation works fine on XP SP3 including the SP3 upgrade. The only thing is that there is an error in the install instructions. Instead of using setup.exe in the root directory, go to the setup directory then 1386 and double click on msetup.exe. After that follow PlanetMaster‘s directions exactly. |
