| 1) Install the program (double-click "vegaspro80b_enu", follow instructions. Dont change the installation directory; it should be C: Program Files Sony Vegas Pro 8.0)
2) Open the Keygen. **If you are using Vista, RIGHT-CLICK THE KEYGEN, AND SELECT "Run as Administrator" OR THIS WILL NOT WORK**. Be annoyed at the music. Select "Vegas Pro 8.0a (Build 179)" in the dropdown menu. 3) Click "Patch". Browse to the folder where you installed to before. Again, if you didnt change it, it should be "C: Program Files Sony Vegas Pro 8.0". Have that folder, "Vegas Pro 8.0" highlighted when you click "OK". 4) Click "OK". It should go through a short patching process, and tell you the patch was successful once its finished. 5) Still in the Keygen. Have "Vegas Pro 8.0a (Build 179)" selected from the dropdown menu. Click "Generate" a couple of times for good luck (this is just my OCD). DONT CLOSE THE KEYGEN. 6) Open Vegas Pro 8.0 from the Start Menu, a desktop shortcut, whatever. It will ask for your serial number. Enter the serial number from your Keygen window. 7) Advance. When it asks, choose to activate from another computer. Fill in some info...it doesnt matter what you write in. 8) When it asks for your authorization code, use the one from your Keygen (I HOPE ITS STILL OPEN!!). Advance to finish. 9). Voila. |
