Yep, that did it. If anyone else has this crash, try uninstalling it (even if it did an automated Creature Creator uninstall), delete C:Program Files (x86)Electronic Arts (assuming you have no other EA games), and install again. Worked fine. Not the crack‘s fault. |

To read the NFO, you dont need to dl nfo viewer, just open it up with notepad.

Ballersnap, to use the crack, open the file with the crack inside, right click on it and select "copy". The open the folder where you installed the game, right click anywhere and select "paste". It will ask if you want to overwrite the file, select "yes", then game should run perfectly. |

You people who can‘t get this working on a PC are really cracking me up. The one guy that said 10-15 hours to EXTRACT it? Wow. Maybe don‘t play on a computer half your age?
Anyway, yes everyone this game plays just fine -- I had an issue with install because of the Character Creator I had installed before hand (see my comments above from two days ago), but after Googling around it was an easy fix. PC-only version, not Mac, plays on XP and XP x64 -- probably Vista too and/or earlier versions. Though if you‘re not running XP at least, then what is wrong with you? XP is what, six years old now? Running an older Windows version is like driving a forty-year-old car and expecting premium gas mileage and engine performance. Same goes for your guts -- upgrade those behemoth computers. If you don‘t know how to use ISO images or follow basic instructions like using cracks and copying files, find a friend who can. I‘m not going to say you‘re a moron -- okay this stuff isn‘t for everyone, but don‘t go crying that the game doesn‘t work. It does, without any glitches that I‘ve discovered (I played endgame four times now -- just doing a zillion space missions with a few different custom races from cellular on up). -Peace |

I, quite literally, had no intention of breaking the law and downloading this game. If a game is quality, I buy it. Cash in hand and happy. However, even if my very dated computer is not capable of actually playing it, I am very happy to download and attempt to play this game, just to piss off the people that would make this a 3 install game. Okay... I‘ll try to break this down. WAY DOWN... I have one rule: If it is here in the instructions, then it must be pretty simple. If you need further explanation from one of the steps, try Google first. Please.
1) You will get a ton of ".rar" files, you will need to use and unraring program to decompress these multipe .rar files into the DVD ISO file. 2) At this point you can either burn the .iso file that you‘ve extracted to a DVD disc or you can use something called Daemon Tools to mount the ISO as a disc. (this accomplishes the same thing as burning the disc, but in software. so you don‘t have to burn a DVD) 3) Run the install (either from the Daemon tools or the burned dvd) During setup it will ask for a product key. You can use one of the ones listed above in the comments, or you can use the keygen (key code generator) in the folder labled "crack" on either the mounted or actual disc. 4) After the setup completes you‘ll want to go to the folder where the program exe sporeapp.exe is installed. By default "C:Program FilesElectronic ArtsSPORESporebin" you‘ll want to first rename the old sporeapp to sporeappOLD or something of the sort, and then copy the new sporeapp.exe file over from the crack folder where we found the keygen. 5) Play spore! |

I‘m using an Intel Mac, UnRar‘d the ISO, mounted it, and the folder background‘s colours are all f*cked up and the Installer won‘t open. I know I‘m not the only person who‘s had this problem, but so far no solutions.
And yes, it‘s Mac compatible. |

Okay, I was fucking wrong.
The game worked perfectly for me and then all of a sudden I had warning message on top of warning message on top of warning message. Then, McAfee was popping up every two seconds telling me about another virus. This may be unrelated but it all started happening when I started playing Spore, after I had a few worlds open and started. I had to Recover my PC and delete all the contents of the game as well as a "XP Antivirus 2008" If you ever see that file, delete it, it is not an antivirus, rather, it will put more virus‘ onto your computer. If this is unrelated, tell me, I really love the game. |

for the person who asked about rar files from my nooob knowlege rar files are the result of breaking the program into pieces so that it can be downloaded more easily, then all you have to do is wait til it is all downloaded then double click on one of the rar files which should open winrar if you have it installed...if not im sure u can download it here, When winrar opens it should show you an .iso file which is the image file you need to play the game or burn it. Then i right click and choose extract file and choose the desktop...you could choose any folder you want but i always start with the desktop, let the complete file extract. Then you can either burn the .iso file to dvd for installation or you can mount the .iso file using a program like daemon tools which allows you to create virtual drives so that the image can be mounted just as if it was in the dvd tray. Then you can follow the instructions in the .nfo file on how to copy the crack. Cheers I hope this helped a little....if i am wrong on any of these instructions then blame it on me being a nooooob cause i dont know how to sling crack what ever that is. |

conwayboys, this release works perfectly on Vista x64. Any 32 bit application should work fine on a 64 bit OS for that matter, so long as it doesn‘t need to install any drivers.
In any case, I only downloaded this in order to increase the number of times Spore was pirated. I don‘t even really play games... |

as already set out please follow the instruction. you install the game then you must go to the downloaded files and go to sporebin file and copy over the crack which is sporeapp before pasting it into the spore bin file you have installed you need to rename the existing spore app file something like sporeapp old when this is done then start the game and you do not need the code. Also i noticed that since i had already downloaded the trial version it is difficult to remove, if you are having problems because of the trial version and it will not uninstall, then download a new version of the trial version which will uninstall the old version and then do not install the newe trial version simply delete it. Then you can completely install the new spore and copy over the crack. Lastly on my first burn using image burn the game played up in certain sections.....i reburned it setting the burn rate to 2.4 max and it seems to be good on the second install. |

I did the install and copied the crack from the crack folder into the program files sporebin and then when i click any application including the destop icon for spore, a message pops up that says "this application has failed to start because d3dx9_27.dll was not found. reinstalling the application may fix this problem." Those of you that have vista, and are having a problem putting the crack into "sporebin," LISTEN UP. I know how to fix this problem.
COPY THE CRACKED VERSION. 1. Click "computer" on your start up menu. 2. Click "Local Disk (C:) 2. Find Electronic Arts in the Program Files 3. Click "Sporebin." 4. You‘ll see a file called "SporeApp." Rename this "SporeAppOLD." 5. Paste the cracked SporeApp into this file. 6. Double click on the newly pasted SporeApp. 7. Enjoy. Don‘t forget to defrag your hard drive before playing. I don‘t know if it helps with the freezing, but I will soon. If you are still experiencing problems with freezing, simply click CTRL ALT DELETE, then press cancel. It helps with me. |

Man, this game is the reason I refuse to pay for video games anymore... First 2 levels were a BLAST! Then it just really went to crap. The torrent is GOOD... but the game would have been a waste of money to pay for.... it lasted 1 day on my hard drive before it was removed... kind of like CD‘s before MP3s .. I used to hate buying new albums because I was always worried about the rest of the songs on the album... you would get maybe 2 good songs that played on the radio and the rest would be crap... thank god to mp3‘s and iTunes... to the video game industry: You want to get rid of pirated torrents? Make your product free for 1 day before making people pay for it. |

Installed according to NFO on a Windows XP platform.
Used Trojan75uk‘s download and instructions. As follows: 9 months ago To read the NFO, you dont need to dl nfo viewer, just open NFO up with notepad. breaker4lyf and huckmefarder - it is easy.you take just the file what is rar the rest is not intressant.
unrar the file and in the end you get one file what you have to burn on a dvd ore use a program like alcohol 120 to make an image cd-rom. run the dvd ore image cd-rom and install the game(the spore setup).use this code SPF7-C9A2-AXYE-4ITI-2RLD . when the instalation is finished go in the Crack folder and copy the file Sporeapp.plug it on your computer c:/programs/electronic arts/spore/sporebin/and paste it here.delete ore rename the old Sporeapp. then dubble click the new Sporeapp and the game should run without problem. |

Steps I needed to make it work:
1. Download and unzip the torrent files. I use a free program called 7-zip. Unzipping converts all files to a single .iso file. 2. Use Daemon Tools, or a similar program to open the .iso file. 3. Install Spore using the serial number SPF7-C9A2-AXYE-4ITI-2RLD. You are not finished. 4. Go back and search for the torrent "spore crackfix reloaded". Download and unzip it. This will give you a new .exe file for Spore. 5. Open up the folder where Spore is installed The default is C:Program FilesElectronic Arts. Open up the "Spore Bin" folder and replace the existing .exe file with your new .exe file. Now it will work. |

lol idiots of course it wont work online, only some old games do like worms armageddon- thats prob the best torrent Ive ever downloaded, why download nearly 4 gigs of this, when you cant even play it online? i dont bother downloading any games now because online is what games are all about, i personally think this game looks shit so i wont buy it but if you are desperate for it, just buy it, that way you wont have to use a crack, you wont have to worry about any errors, youl be able to update the game, youl be able to play online with everyone else.
I used to download torrent games all the time (when i was a noob) only to be disappointed that i cant play online, or there were viruses in the torrents, or that youi really do have to fuck about a hell of a lot just to play it, now i just stick to about 3 games that i love, and just buy them new so i feel safe knowing i can play them online and that they will be faultless forever, I think some pirate software is useful as you dont need an internet connection to use them, but games are a waste of time imo |

To all newbies... the first thing u should check is ur system requirements. I have Vista home edition service pack 2, 32 bits, dual processor 1.60 GHz each, 500 gig HHD, 2.00 RAM, a moderate type of video card (X1550 series). I don‘t have any anti-virus installed (AV programs sometimes cause problem) and I never caught any bug because I always download reliable torrents (most of the time games) and they always work... So I‘m gonna be talking in general how to download the games.
1... Before downloading open the torrent and see whats inside. This gives u an idea if the torrent is real or not. Most of the real torrents consist of the files which can be opened with WINRAR and PowerISO / Daemon Tools, while others are directly ISO files. Some of the torrents (like "SPORE") opens with both programs i.e. I opened archive with the help of WINRAR, extracted it to some location and got an ISO file, which can be mounted and run with PowerISO. 2... Downloaded, Archived, Mounted with PowerISO...! Now open my computer, right click on the ISO program corresponding drive and click "open" or "explore", U ‘ll see the list of files and folders. Look for the folder named "Crack". (sometimes the crack folder is of torrent‘s Auther‘s name like "Razor 1911", "Skullptura" etc.) 3... Either U ‘ll find just one application and sometimes two (like this torrent got two, one is "sporeApp", to run the game and one is "rld-spor", the key generator. Open key generator, generate the key and write it down. 3...Now right click on the ISO drive and click "run or install". Proceed with installation,*** DON‘T CONNECT TO THE GAME NETWORK OR REGISTER THE GAME. *... Make a note where its getting installed, like this game installs in C:Program FilesElectronic Arts. *... Put the key when its asked and keep going until installation finishes. 4... Now go to crack folder again and copy the application file. Paste and replace it with the file present in the folder in where the game downloaded.i.e. C:Program FilesElectronic ArtsSporeSporebin. 5... After replacement, right click the replaced file and create a shortcut on desktop or where u want it. (I told U this step cz many times ppl make a mistake and try to open the crack application file itself directly which gives error like "Data directory is missing or corrupt") 6... Now right click on shortcut and run it as administrator (in vista) because I found the problem that the game can‘t be saved if u don‘t run it as administrator. ENJOY... But don‘t forget the simple an basic rule .NEVER CONNECT the game online or try to REGISTER it Unless u want to get screwed up. Have a Good One. |
