Ok now I was experiencing problems for quite a while. I tried reinstalling and all that stuff and followed the instructions completely. After messing around a bit the following day I found out what was wrong.
________________________________________________________________ Here are my instructions. 1) Create disc or mount the StalkerCS.daa file. 2) Install by clicking on setup.exe within the newly created disc or mount, when prompted to enter serial code just leave blank. 3) Within any of the .rar files you will find "No-DVD 1.503.." Open the file named "V1.5.03_stks-..." also may be prompted for serial code, leave blank. 4) Copy the START file from the "No-DVD 1.503.." folder to your installation folder. 5) Then copy the following files from the /bin dir of the .rar into the install /bin folder. The only files needed here should be: all the protect files, xrNetServer, and xrCore. It doest hurt to extract them all here except you will have useless doubles. 6) Copy the remaining files to the install-folder/bin/dedicated folder. The files should be: xrCPU_Pipe.dll, xrEngine, and xrGame.dll. 7) Run Stalker from the START file previously placed into the install folder. Notes: *The only program I know of that can mount a .daa file is Pismo File Mount Audit Package, when using this utility best option is to select quick mount as it converts the .daa into a folder instantly in the same directory and can be unmounted just as easily. It is extremely useful as it saves you from having to waste 10 minutes burning and a disc, plus it is fully free. *When mounting you can unmount after you have installed the core part of Stalker. *I do not believe that you need to mount the Stalker-mini image, I never did and it runs fine. If you run into problems it doesnt hurt. Good Luck. |

Hey, the download has been perfect (250 KB/sec average speed) until 99.8%, but it‘s since many hours that I‘ve got only 4 MB left and I‘m just able to upload the files (and I can‘t download anymore).

umh can u guys please help i have installed patched copied files the bin the start but sadly the mount wont work the guy about 2 post above said he didint use mount but when i try to start it it says put the cd in and i tried to mount it with daemon but it says unable to mount image file inaccesible PLZ help im so close :( |

erm..a bit confused here..theres patch 1.5.03 included in these files yet no crack..only cracks on net are 1.5.04..isnt common sense to call crack 1.5.03 if patch is called that 2..to conclude..can i apply crack 1.5.04 to a 1.5.03 patched game =) ? |

ok, i did wht the instructions said, but heres the problem: when i press start, it says it cant find xrEngine, although it is there, in the bin folder. and if i press xrEngine it tells me im missing d3dx9_37.dll. and both tell me that if i reinstall the program it might be fixed, i already intstalled it twice but didnt work, help plz |

hmmm, i found an answer to my problem...but got some more problems. i just downloaded the missing dll file and put it into bin folder, but before that i had installed the 1.5 patch and now it asks for cd. maybe i can download 1.5 crack? help plz |

Valasara...this is a valid copy of the game...if you follow the instructions it will work. The first time I installed it ...it didn‘t work..and I went back and reread the instructions and found I had misplaced one file that went in a specific folder. |

I‘ve done what ltdforcedlife said and I‘m asked to put SCS dvd disc into my drive (I‘ve got that massage in polish so it‘s not the direct translation). I‘ve ignored that and I‘ve instaled 1.5.07 patch and no-dvd crack like sheam said. After running ‘start‘ from my game dir I get that massage about inserting SCS disc into drive. No ideas what‘s wrong? BTW I‘m using vista32. |
