where do i find the first cd? i keep on trying to start but something keeps on popping up saying "wrong disc inserted please insert the original disc into your CD/DVD" i tried running the deamon file but it doesnt work wtf do i do! |

for ppl who doesnt know where the crack is, pls read this, its in the cd you get (iso) just go to "my computer" and right-click on the SW:RC icon and open, there you will find both the serial key and the crack |

It does work. After you mount the image and install it, if you try to run it you get the error saying that you need to insert the game disc. Also, if you explore the disc and find the folder with the crack, double clicking the shortcut will only get you the message: "The game can‘t be started because GameSpyMgr.dll can‘t be found". you have to go to C:/Program Files/LucasArts/Star Wars Republic Commando/DataSystem and rename SWRepublicCommando.exe to SWRepublicCommando.old. Then copy SWRepublicCommando.exe from the CRACK folder to C:/Program Files/LucasArts/Star Wars Republic Commando/DataSystem. It works just fine after that. |

Guys, you all(who can‘t get this to work) have clearly not researched how to do this with other games because it‘s the same process. Here it is, pretty much like chase put it, but modified for all of you who can‘t seem to see that this file has a NoCD built in.
Step by Step once file has finished downloading: -Extract the file -Go to the GameData file -Dbl click on Setup *This will install the game onto your system, be sure to use the default file locations for the rest of this "guide" to make sense. Once installation has finished: -Locate the Cracked folder in your torrent download file -Copy the SWRepublicCommando file (the little helmet icon) and paste it to: C:Program FilesLucasArtsStar Wars Republic CommandoGameDataSystem *This should ensure no disc (or even Daemon) is needed. -Send a shortcut to the SWRepublicCommando icon that you just pasted to your desktop. -Double click newly created Icon -Play! *If this doesn‘t work, once you‘ve installed the program, try copying ALL identical files from your downloaded torrent file to the game created file where the same folders are located. |

FOR EVERYONE THAT HAS THE PROBLEM OF THEIR GAME CRASHING WHEN THEY START A NEW GAME OR ARE TRYING TO PLAY. YOU MUST SET YOUR BLUR MAPPING TO LOW. THAT‘S ALL THE PROBLEM WAS, AFTER THE GAME SHOULD STOP CRASHING. ALSO LISTEN TO neutralcoder‘S INSTRUCTIONS, THEY HELP A TON, THANKS BUDDY. K, i have installed and ran program following chase314‘s instructions, and in runs perfectly, untill u get half way through the mission "Heart of the Machine", i believe thats what its called..and the game just crashes and goes to a blacks screen.I run Windows XP Home edition, what could be the problem??? |

Everything seems to work fine, however I havn‘t played it through yet so can‘t comment on any potential crashes. Follow neutralcoder‘s instructions. Breakdown of how I got it to work --
Needed to extract the files then run the setup in the GameData folder - running it through daemon tools got me the ‘Insert disc 1‘ error towards the end of installation. First attempt: ignoring that error and exiting the setup and opening the game with the crack I could not even start a new game (clicked the button and nothing happened). Second attempt: Dragged the files from the iso (explored E drive when the image was loaded into daemon tools) - allowed me to start the prologue, but at the end when it should have loaded the next level the screen simply remained black while the sound roll continued. Third attempt: Simply extracted the files and installed using the setup file in the GameData folder - Success! |

This game is very fun, and the audio is super duper, it puts you in a real commando type mode in the game. No problems with the simple iso mounting or copying the key for game activation, its very simple. But if you like first person shooters, and or sci-fi, then get this game also for your collection, its fun to play.
