| Game works, but couldn‘t connect to any servers, non-steam, the ones included in this torrent, or any at the site listed in Steffl6‘s comment. Kept saying the servers used different class tables. |

| I tried running the hl2.exe and it gave me the message "Setup file ‘gameinfo.txt‘ doesn‘t exist in subdirectory ‘hl2‘. Check your -game parameter or VCONFIG setting."
Anyone know how to fix this? or am I just doing something wrong? |

| EDIT: I managed to make a gameinfo.txt and solved that problem, but now I have the same problem as Forester.
Caliban07 or anyone that can help: Can you point me to those patches please? I just don‘t want to Google it because I suspect official Valve patches might disable TF2. Any Help? |

| I figured out how to get it to run. Create a .bat with notepad that contains the following: hl2.exe -game tf then just run the .bat and the game will open up |
