You need to install the CoR: Assault on Dark Athena official patch 1.01 first(included) IF YOU PREFFER TO DOWNLOAD THE 1.01 PATCH FROM ELSEWHERE. Paste Vca.bin and Serial.txt go to(depending on your system): C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataTages100663362 OR C:programDataTages Paste Patch.exe inside the same folder as the "...The Chronicles of Riddick - Assault on Dark AthenaSystemWin32_x86" or Win64_... if you‘ve got a 64-bit system. This doesnt work great for me either, when the game starts its really jerky, even in the menus, my computer is a monster so its not crappy hardware that‘s causing it. anyone know why its doing this or how to fix it? |

Iv fixed it, if when you install it runs like shit, go to uninstall and select repair installation. when its finished run the game and its fine. Many thanks to uploader. |

when i put the crack in the atari folder win32_86 and try 2 patch it it keeps saying cannot access file,maybe its in use please close the file before patching!try to access the file again now.this is bullshit wtsf the file isnt open anywhere else i wasted 3 days dwnloading this shit very dissapointed.i know its free an i shouldnt whine jus really wanted 2 play this game.b weary people this game is a waste of time and energy i dont even think those comments r true about this sh i t actually workin peeps lyin

I got it working! I was getting errors that the file was in use, one crucial step was missed out. This is what you should do:
Instructions: ------------- 1. Burn or mount iso 2. Instal 3. Run Patch 1.01.exe 4. Run the game to create folders with paths (or you can create them manually): WinXP = C:/Documents and Settings/All Users/Application Data/Tages/100663362 Vista = C:/ProgramData/Tages/100663362 and copy vca.bin and serial.txt in it 5. Copy patch.exe in folder The Chronicles of Riddick - Assault on Dark Athena/System/win32_x86 DON‘T DO STEP 6!!!!!! 6. Start patch.exe Instead, RIGHT CLICK ON PATCH.EXE and RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR. Say yes to the UAC crap that pops up and then click patch. It worked fine for me after doing that :) Obviously UAC was blocking some crucial stuff. I am running Windows 7 btw so it might be different fro Vista users, though I doubt it. 7. Start game by DarkAthena.exe in folder where patch.exe is Good luck to everyone and thanks for the crack :) |

hi! i have a windows vista 64 bit and the patch.exe doesnt work, when i try 2 run it with simpli double clicking on it, it says that it‘s for 32 bit. i know what is the problem, so who knows a patch.exe for 64 bit? |

Can anyone help? I installed the game and patches as said but when i start the game it shows the starting of the game then it goes to press enter. When i do this a black screen appears and my mouse curser also appears, when i move the mouse and start clicking the mouse when i click it near the bottom of the black screen (esc) cancel appears. but after the black screen appears there is no way for me to get into and start playing the game. If anyone knows whats going on please help me thanks. My system is a dell dimensions 5150 running xp home, 3 gig of memory, 3.6 gig pentium 4 processor, graphics card is a radeon x600 256mb hypermemory but i don‘t think its that because it shows the intro to the game without any difficulty. |

bulint2 apparently with vista if you right click the patch and run as administator that solves the problem so i‘ve been told and also read in another forum. Hope this helps you.

Hi people. I cant make it work. I tried like you "Pheter" (comment above)says, but in the end the game dont start. Its not my PC, so I think that perhaps, Im not doind all the correct steps. Pheter, can You please explain better. For exemple, when I run the patch.exe file, what are the files to patch (are the .dll file only?). In the end, when we tried run the game, we must copy a "activation code" that opens in a web file (one with a lot os letters and numbers)? If you can, help us, OK? |
