Check this out
The movie *The Dark Knight* by director Christopher Nolan is *unique*. *The Dark Knight* was shot for presentation in both the EXTRA High Definition IMAX format with an aspect ratio of 1.44: 1 and the Theater Widescreen format with an aspect ratio of 2.35: 1 The *standard definition* DVD was released in three versions: *The Dark Knight (Fullscreen Single-Disc Edition) (DVD - 2008)* which used a 1.78: 1 Aspect Ratio (with no black bars top or botom) *The Dark Knight (Widescreen Single-Disc Edition) (DVD - 2008)* which used a 2.35: 1 Aspect Ratio (with black bars top and botom) *The Dark Knight (Two-Disc Widescreen Special Edition) (DVD - 2008)* which also used a 2.35: 1 Aspect Ratio (with black bars top and botom) But in the *High Definition* BluRay release version: *The Dark Knight (Two-Disc Special Edition + Digital Copy) [Blu-ray] (Blu-ray - 2008)* The movie switches back and forth between the IMAX 1.44: 1 aspect ratio and the Theater Widescreen 2.35: 1 aspect ratio. (sometimes black bars) The director, Christopher Nolan, decided to cross cut the 2.35: 1 aspect ratio Theater Widescreen format with the 1.44: 1 aspect ratio IMAX format retaining the taller IMAX aspect ratio in selected scenes to try to deliver the feel of the IMAX experience in scenes where picture height was more important than picture width. The director explains this in a video clip at the Amazon.com site shown below The 8137 MB file prepared by *ESiR* named * The Dark Knight 2008 720p BluRay DTS x264-ESiR(No Rars)* With interchanging aspect ratios is an accurate Rip of the High Definition BluRay version that was produced for commercial sale. The 8101 MB *iNFAMOUS* file named * The Dark Knight 720p BluRay x264-iNFAMOUS* is a good quality STANDARD definition DVD Rip not the High-Definition BluRay Rip AND the video quality is not any better than The 801 MB *aXXo* file named *The Dark Knight[2008]DvDrip-aXXo212350690980 238* or the 902 MB *FXG* file named *The Dark Knight[2008]DvDrip[Eng]-FXG651419555165.033* NOW RE: The BluRay commercial version for home veiwing The directors explanation is in a video clip at the Amazon.com site for This movie You can search it out or try the link below http://www.Amazon.com/Dark-Knight-Digital-Copy-Blu-ray/dp/B001GZ6QEC/re f=e d_oe_blu/185-0196964-9449918 Scroll down to *Check Out Related Media* and choose the video clip titled: The Dark Knight: How the IMAX scenes were shot (2 min 40 sec) OR Just go to IMDb and read about the complex mix of lenses, film negative format, Cinematographic process and Printed film format, ending up with the duel aspect ratio of 1.44: 1 AND 2.35: 1 as described in *Technical Specifications* at http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0468569/technical X . |

10/10 for Quality. The Vocal sounds are the best in here. I had downloaded from axxo and Klaxxon prints but both had low vocal sounds. This one is the best. Thanks uploader... |
