I‘m with ya eufouria. I refuse to download this film simply because it would be disgracing Heath Ledger‘s memory. His Joker is definately the best performance I have seen from a single actor in the last decade.
And before you consider clicking the download button, go to your nearest theater, purchase a 5-10 ticket and see this film legitimately. Any movie which dethrones The Godfather from the #1 of all time spot on IMDB deserves your money. I seriously don‘t give a fu@k if you download any other films, we all do it, but at least consider paying for this movie for the full experience and not some shitty cam, no matter what the "quality"... |

Definitely agree with Specht ( above ). I think that for BIG movies such as these, it‘s best to see it at the theatres. Heath Ledger is considered for an award for this role, and I think it would be a shame to watch it, in poor quality, where you can hear people talking and munching pop corn all the time. |

I‘ve already seen the film in theatres and loved it. But I‘d also like to have a copy of my own at home to rewatch whenever I want, so thanks for posting. The quality could be a little better but it‘s not too bad. I‘d suggest watching it for the first time in a theatre to get the full experience and then DLing whenever you want to rewatch again. The sounds were clear but seemed slightly hollow. And the sounds of candy wrappers in the background gave it an authentic feel LOL. In my opinion, the video and audio are quite blur... Seems out-of-focus
(At least it‘s not fake like the ones with ‘NeDivX‘) However, I think "XviD-mVs", "XviD-PreVail" "Telesync DivX-LTT" are better. They might be of the same quality because their samples are identical... For the guy way up there somewhere who said I should pay the 10 and go see this in the theater, I really wish I could. I live on disability and can‘t afford barely to eat, mush less go to the movies. The last one I went to see was "Shutter" and a good friend took me. Didn‘t cost me anything. So if you see a way to stretch 600 a month here in the US then please, let me know because mine is stretched as far as it can be. Downloading movies here and over at Demonoid is the best I can do. My daughter evens buys the blank dvd‘s for me to burn them. I feel sorry for Ledger‘s family, but he will NEVER replace Jack Nicholson as the Joker. |

Uhh, the suggestions to pay for the movie in theaters are for people who are able to go and have the money. If the movie‘s not out in your country and you absolutely have to see it, it‘s not like anyone‘s stopping you. And it‘s better than watching a dubbed version as well.
@ TheElf310 - That‘s what I thought too. But in all, the two performaces aren‘t comparable. Nicholson‘s Joker was awesome for Burton‘s style of Batman, while Ledger‘s nails what Nolan tried to accomplish in his first movie, which was a more modern, serious look at Batman. It‘s like how no new Bond can replace Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan, or Daniel Craig. They all brought their own style to the character.(George Lazenby doesn‘t count, lol. OHMSS was his only film. Though he was alright.) |

I came to download this movie, and I was thrilled to see a torrent with so many comments. I figured it must be of good quality. Unfortunately, all I was graced with was the cocksuckery of the general public. It makes me sick how misinformed so many people are. Careful about downloading this. That stupid piece of shit ANTIPIRACYSQUAD above is right about the arraignments. I‘ve been downloading torrents (and off some public sites like btjunkie) for years and this is the first time I got noticed. The MPAA sent a complaint to my school and I lost network access. If they decide to press charges (which does happen to people, occasionally) I‘m getting fucked. And I swear to god if I get one of those litigation letters I will go fucking nuts and declare war on the MPAA (like that will do shit, I know...) Lesson here is be careful with downloading some of these new movies files, some of those IPs you‘re downloading from are actually ‘the man.‘ Just remember you‘re not invincible. oh yeah..

Thanks AlvinLKS, for that post about other torrents. Got fooled by that NeDivX thing too, it looked totally like the real thing with a very good sample and everything. Some pretty weird-looking trackers though. Wonder what that was all about. Should perhaps install PeerGuardian again but that also denies my AV- and other software from updating. It virtually denied me from touching my keyboard. Hmmm ... Life is a bitch.
Heath b.t.w. died of an unintentional overdose of a rather mind bogging cocktail of anti-insomnia drugs and anti-anxiety drugs. Some 8 or 10 in total. But no pot for some odd reason, which perhaps might have done the trick rather nicely. Most were prescription drugs but there was also OTC stuff like Doxylamine and Diphenhydramine, both powerful histamine blockers. The poor guy was just trying to get some sleep. Nobody got charged with negligent homicide or something because of the OTC stuff I guess. To all those folk who insist on "not" downloading this movie in his honor: I‘m certain you you will all be rewarded in heaven and Heath will be there to personally give you a big warm welcome hug. Heath no doubt will consider "not" downloading his pirated movie the most awesome tribute in his career and probably he‘s sleeping much better now. |

This is not a fake. But I tell you that all the hype about this movie is. It‘s just a bloody Batman flick. Heath Ledgers performance is fabulous however the story line is total crap. Its hard to follow the plot particularly cause the audio os a bit muffled. I swithced it off half way through. I LOVE Heath bugt this movie is a dud. The studio must be glad to have Heath‘s sad story in real life to help promote this movie. Everyone has said his performance is great which it is but it cant hold up the whole poor film. the.dark.knight.ts.xvid-prevail I‘ve watched it four times. By the way I agree that the performances of the Joker are incomparable. That being said as a comic and movie fan, if I had to do with one...I‘d lose big Jack and hold onto Heath‘s Joker it is by far the more realistic of the two and closer to the tortured villain‘s comic book persona. p.s.
