This is not the actual Shivering Isles. It is a repack of the mod, and can break your install. |

1 more thing N case other people have that same problem. Preferred to run play most games U‘ll need a 512mb AGP or minimum 256mb. Plus make sure the graphics card is AGP ; nothin personal against PCI but from my experience AGP rocks!!! |

it did installed itself without problems for me but when i launch the game i dont see any indication that i can choose to play shivering isles - if i create a new game it still starts in the original place. Maybe it is supposed to be so... |

its not an idividual game...its a new island, u should get some sort of indication message pop up at somepoint, or ppl speak about it when walking past them. but to get there, its a portal on a small island in the middle of a lake, not sure which one. |

maxim, I mean exactly that - it broke my install. It is not the actual Shivering Isles (as you can tell by looking at the mod in Oblivion Mod Manager). I installed it, enabled the mod, and Oblivion crashed on launch. I disabled the mod, and Oblivion crashed on launch. I had no issues with Oblivion (other than the normal ones) up to the point that I installed the mod from this torrent. I uninstalled and reinstalled Oblivion, installed all the mods I had previously with the exception of this one, and it worked as normal. So, again, do not download this torrent - it can break your install. There is a complete Oblivion GOTY torrent available that is an actual disc image - I would recommend that one instead. |

MrMovie74 AGP Has been Dead for many years now and just to slow to play next gen games at anthing better than low settings if that. The only reason to buy an AGP card nowadays is becuase you cannot afford to buy or build a new PC and it‘s the only option. Last year i pondered Buying a Radeon 3850 AGP which is the fastest AGP card i could find and probably the last AGP card they will ever release. I decided instead to spend 300 on a new budget pc and just upgrade the parts. AGP+Single core CPU are too slow for next Gen games. |
