ur question doesn‘t make sense...this movie is .avi format...most(DVD Rip) movies in will be .avi format and most will prolly be around 700MB. hope that helps??? |

simpsond, the movie with the menus is a DVD clone, the usually come as .iso, .vob or even as compressed split file. They are in excess of 4000Mb in size.
DVD rips like this particular torrent are much better value; dash lower same quality, no menus, fraction of a size and are watchable on your computer. |

For some reason The Golden Compass works fine on my pc but does not work at all on any dvd players we have. Anyone have any idea of what could be wrong or if I am doing something wrong? Thanks for the help |

Same problem here. Sometimes my DVD player won‘t recognize some avi files. I don‘t know why. It‘s rare but it happens. The only option is to download again from somewhere else. |

Darko is wrong, divx vids easily are capable of subtitles and are of superior quality usually, with smaller file sizes. easy to add subtitles to divx files as well, if they are not on there to begin with |

the quality of this movie is great. however, the movie itself, is awful. if you‘re a fan of "his dark materials" novels, don‘t even both watching this. it‘s almost as bad as the "eragon" movie adaptation. if you haven‘t read the "golden compass" i would still recommend passing this one up. despite the many great actors in this film, most of the acting is crap. the girl that plays lyra LOOKS the part, but is not a very convincing actress. even the big names aren‘t at their best.
in short, this movie was crap. the .avi quality is great. |
