Contrary to the "1080" or "720" labels, resolution is based on the width of the video, not the height. So if a video is 1920 pixels wide, it is 1080 resolution. If it is 1280 wide, it is 720 resolution. It is the aspect ratio which determines the video height. A video that is truly 1920*1080 is full or IMax resolution. |

May I ask how do burn this files? Because they all seem too big. For example the first .MKV is 17000 MB (like 17 GB?) I can only burn DVDs, how am I suppose to burn that? Even a dual layer DVD can‘t hold it. Thanks. |

alejandromc - this is HDDVD, kind of like the step down from blu-ray. basically unless you wanted to compress it and lose a ton of quality, you‘ll need a bluray. although, with a dual-layer, VLC might be able to shrink it down - i‘m not sure. |
