Do not use the crack, update the game and then use the no-cd crack provided by the GameCopyWorld http://m0003.gamecopyworld.com/games/pc_settlers_6.shtml. Note that "The Settlers: Rise of an Empire v1.5.4279.0 [MULTI5-2] Fixed EXE" crack fixe is working for me, even when I installed the 1.6 update (the crack was made for the v1.5). So install the game after mounting it on virtual drive with Deamon Tools Lite (Free, update the game and use the crack and fuck off |

File is not corrupt. I too got the ‘unable to mount‘ error when using my normal alcohol 120% but it works perfectly fine with the latest daemon tools lite version 4.12.3 Enjoy all, great game =)
ps - just a general tip, when torrent finishes, always do a hash re-check for any missing data. |

Hey guys, Right i‘ve figured how to work it! you need to have the latest version of deamon tools lite. you wont be able to mount the MDF file, deamon dont recognise it, so mount the MDS file and your away. i know it sounds strange but it‘s just worked for me, installing now, will see how it goes. |

downloaded the game and the update process failed, i then downloaded the other crack file from http://m0003.gamecopyworld.com/games/pc_settlers_6.shtml which got the game up and running but only for the tutorial. all other aspects of the game do not work. error shown is mapssingleplayerse-mediterramapdata.xml" at line 1 colum 491 ??? anyone got any ideas |

ps: Yes, the game works. And so does the crack. But i‘m guessing since the uploader didn‘t bother to write up a detailed tutorial on how to patch the game, some of you may not have used it the right way. Location for the bblua51 and cld DLLs is *game folder*basebin. Suggestions: backup the original bblua51 (just rename the extension to bak for example) and download and apply the latest patch yourself, it‘s faster and less gay than the in-game update.
Been playing the settlers franchise since the first one and it‘s always been on my top10 list, specially II. Hope this last installment gets all of those who‘ve just heard about Settlers to try the old ones, just stay away from V! |

Yeah it was NOT corrupt...
But it still won‘t work for me. I go to enter the key, by clicking the "register" button after I have already mounted the file to a disk. It comes up properly, it shows the splash and everything... but when I click to "register" it with a key, there is no place to register it. It takes you to UBIsoft signup page, so you can register that (even though it says PRODUCT registration), so I sign up for that and confirm it. After trying to register the product several times, I decided to just say "fuck it" and stop now. After you register on their site, it just tells you to keep re-registering on there, and there is no place on the software or the site to input a key. Any help..? |
