Excellent rip. Full 8-in-1 collection for The Sims and all expansion. Fully functional with one exception, only one neighborhood. Not a problem in my case and it may even be the way the 8-in-1 version comes but I‘m all about non-biased opinions and what not ha ha ha. Have fun playing. Virus free confirmed by McAfee vers. 12.1 build 12.1.110. |

@ iheartpi: you need to "mount" the image (.iso) using something like Nero or MagicISO. This will turn the .iso file into a readable (.exe type) file. Simple really. |

Lucillematthews and iheartpi, you need to download and install an image mounting software such as Nero or MagicISO. I personally prefer Daemon Tools Lite which can be downloaded at http://www.daemon-tools.cc/downloads. Once it is installed there will be a silver lightning bolt icon in your toolbar at the bottom of the screen. Right click it and select virtual cd/dvd rom from there select the first avaialable drive (It should say device 0: [E:] No Media) then select mount image. Browse around your files to the file where you downloaded the file The Sims 1 + All Extensions.iso and select that file. That should cause the program to run as if you had inserted a disk. |

Dymondzncurlz part of the Unleashed game is that the pets run around. They‘re called strays and you can adopt them. You should be able to go to Old Town to buy stuff for your pets. If not you should be able to go into Old Town without a sim and edit the shops to be able to sell things for your pets. |

When I installed the Game everything went fine until I started playing the game......The Live Mode was not accessible....and when I wanted to save the game....it told me that a error occurred while trying to save...so I‘m re-installing to see if it works.....does anyone know anything about how I might fix this??? |

I haven‘t downloaded any games before so im kind of a newb. I downloaded through BitTorrent and tried to do the iso burn through Daemon Tools but it wouldn‘t work. Is there another way i can get it to work without doing all this? |

Okay, for those of you out there that have no idea how to get this to work. Do this, get a ISO. burning program like "AShampoo Burning Studio" and BURN the ISO to a DVD. You‘ll have to do it to a DVD being that the file is almost 2 gigs. Then your done. All the install files will be on the DVD after burning. You should be able to finish from there. |

I figured out the problem people are having. Vista requires you to start the game as administrator. If you don‘t, you can‘t save the game or move your sims. Right-click on the sims.exe and choose to start as administrator. Look under properties to keep this option checked on sims.exe. This is a good install however I‘ve noticed a small change. On Vista, the original neighborhood has been wiped out. No houses or families. No biggie though, they can be recreated. I have not tried this install on XP yet. I‘m guessing from others that got it to work were running on XP. Installation does take awhile. |

Since a few have problems let me tell you what I did(I hope its helpful)...
Firstly, I‘m on Windows XP so donno much about the problems in Vista *SAFETY: Downloaded the torrent and scanned it thru AVG...no threats were found *Finished d/ling and mounted the .iso file through daemon tools lite. Just google daemon tools and d/l it..later after installation and restarting the PC..run it....you‘ll find the daemon tools icon in the taskbar (the one next to time)..right click the Daemon tools icon,(if you‘re using the normal version of Daemon then select Emulation and turn all options ON but in lite version I guess that‘s not required) Later select "virtual CD/DVD ROM"-device;0: and then select "the sims 1+all extensions .iso file "from your downloaded destination. *after mounting, its pretty simple just go to the virutal drive and run the setup. *It‘ll take quite a lot of time to install so get back after an hr or so :) *Then, just click the sims game .exe and play...enjoy!! thanks a lot to the uploader :) |

yeah it takes along time but it‘s worth it...i dont know how i got it to work (new to this) but i did despite the lack luster instructions....everything works ...saves, pets, only one neighborhood but i had no problems moving my sims in and out.....a note for vista users: once it is installed if you have trouble when u actually go to PLAY the game...try right clicking on the startup icon and run as administrator, that‘s the only way i could get it to work :) |
