the serial number is in the document included with the download, everything is great about the game but an occasional glitch with talking to other sims, i don‘t know if the glitch is due to the original game or crack version. |

To all newbies out there,
The SERIAL number can be found in the "INFO+serial" file. Here‘s how: Right-click "INFO+serial" file then select "Open with...". Then choose "Notepad". Got it??? DO NOT double-click the file because its default program is "system info" If it keeps on asking to insert a correct disk, open the "crack" folder if it includes one. Then copy the .exe file inside it, and paste it to the folder where you installed The Sims program. If there is no "crack" file include in this download, then you need to burn the image file: "The Sims.mdf" in a CD. Then insert the CD in your CD drive when you play. If you know how to install and use some CD emulation software such as "ALCOHOL 120%", "PowerISO","Virtual Drive", etc..., it would be of great help so that you don‘t need to burn the image file I hope these could help you, guys Need more help? Post your questions here and I‘ll come back later |

Alright guys, I‘ve figured it out...
HERE ARE THE STEPS IN INSTALLATION: After downloading this torrent, (1a). If you have a CD emulation software or Daemon tools installed in your PC, mount the "The Sims.mds" file in this torrent. If you don‘t have a daemon or emulation tool, better get one. OR (1b). If you cannot find a daemon or emulation tool, just burn the "The Sims.mdf" file in this torrent using Nero or similar softwares. 2. Browse the CD, right-click "INFO+serial" file, choose "Open with ", the choose "Notepad". 3. Write in a piece of paper the "Serial:" 4. Install the game. When it prompts you to enter the serial number, enter the one you have written in step 3 above. 5. Finish the installation and that‘s it... 6. When you play, make sure that the CD is mounted in your virtual or physical CD drive. |

But, i guess its better if you first search for Damn NFO Viewer to read the INFO+Serial cuz with Notepad .nfo files offen get mixed-up and NFO viewer is great and free. just google it |
