I saw the who perform quadrophenia at the cow palace in san francisco.It was their PREMEIR show, , and moonie took too much of something, and looked like a dishrag, as four big security dudes picked him up off the drums after the third song; Pete went on with the show, as he had a line of drummers by the stage, after announcing "can anybody out there play the drums?"and they found a guy who pete said was pretty good; The next day, the band found out that a guy had handed keith 4 horse tranquilizers,(PCP) and told him if he broke one in half, and took it w/ some brandy, he‘d get sort of an enteresting high....keith looked at him, mortified, and said "A HALF OF ONE, I‘M KEITH MOON!!!, swallowed all of them, slugged down a half bottle of brandy after it. He lasted three songs, and Roger Daltrey said the first song went from very slow to very fast, the second, he looked back, and keith was not playing at all, sort of hitting a drum here and there, so they called a break, and they all went backstage, where they gave him a shot of cortisone and he got right up, and made it to his drum throne before passing out....the next morning they went to the hospital to get him, and pete took his super 8mm camera with him. when they walked in, Pete said he was in a wheel chair, said he wasn‘t moving, in fact, looked quite dead, if anything....and when pete got in his face w/the camera, keith said, in a very low and sqweakey voice, "heheeeeheheheeeeeeelp mmemeeeee"!another day in rock infamy with the who....anyway, thanks for the download, it was really clear, i played it through my stereo in sorround, tweeked it a little here and there, and beefed up the subwoofer for the drums and bass,....my neighbors was at the door, i told to piss off, didn‘t they realize who i was listening to...shut the door...again, thanks,..later....nazz
