I‘m hesitant to download this; I think it may be the U.S. version (with all the gore/nudity censorship crap), however, it looks like the authentuic eastern Euro releaseis only available as two large .mds/.mdf d/l‘s which makes me a little nervous (i.e. a couple bytes of corrupt torrent data equal 11GB of a corrupted d/l LOL). D/l‘ing this "chopped" up release makes me much more comfortble. I will report when it is done. |

One thing I forgot to mention: I get some strange graphical glitches in-game (light sources shine through walls and solid surfaces). I‘m pretty sure it‘s the fixed EXE/crack that‘s causing the problem. I would recommend installing the game w/o the crack and using a mini-image to start the game instead. There are no mini-images availableyet, so keep your eyes open. |

@ Ramscoop,
I believe from your problem description that you are running with an NVIDIA -based graphics card. Therefore, if you read the NVIDIA release notes, you will see that this is a known issue with the drivers and not actually the fixed exe. Just hope NVIDIA will correct this in a driver release. |

First of all sorry for my bad english, I‘m from Greece.THANKS FOR THE UPLOAD.Works great on my pc! I‘ve got WINDOWS XP, processor: intel pentium 4 3.8ghz, Graphic Card:SAPHERE ATI RADEON HD2600 PRO up to 512MB AND RAM memory 2048MB. Works smoothly on me.No glitches or something. I guess that most problems on new games are those damned vista! The only problem is that the loading of a saved game is a bit slowly but I don‘t care. It‘s a great game, It‘s a mix of GOTHIC 3 and FABLE 2. The only thing that the producer must correct is the action part in the game, it‘s real hard to manage a fight.Thanks ones more for the uploading!!!!!! |

I‘ve copied the crack into the game directory from dvd2. When I try to launch it says binkw32.dll was not found. So I downloaded the dll file and placed it in the game directory. Now when I try and launch it tells me ‘the procedure entry point_BinkRegisterFrameBuffers@8 could not be located in the dynamic link library binkw32.dll‘
What should I do? Many thanks. |

There are no instructions on how to install this. I tried to run setup and then it asks to insert bonus CD.

Oh I figured it out myself, so here goes: Mount and extract each CD to folders. Copy all files from CD2 folder to CD1 folder. Run setup. |

To Dragon 20000 - I have the same sound card I had the same problem. If you‘re running Vista you need to run the game in XP compatibility mode - That should fix it. If you‘re experiencing the problem on XP your card settings must be out. Try going into Control Panel--Sounds and Audio Devices--Click on the Audio tab--Under Sound Playback click Advanced--Click the Performance tab--Under Hardware Acceleration - Push the slider all the way over to Full. If this still doesn‘t fix it either contacy Realtek or google your problem. |

FOR THOSE HAVING TROUBLE WITH SECOND CD
you do NOT need to combine the files. I don‘t know if that works, but it is needless. Just mount the first disc- use daemon tools, its free and easy- and the installation should start automatically. When asked for the second cd, simply unmount cd 1, and mount cd 2 the same way you did the first one. This is the exact same thing as putting a second install disc into your cd drive. When installation finishes, simply copy the crack in the folder "skidrow" (this is on cd2 after you "unrar" the initial contents) into program files/withcer enhanced edition/ system. Yes to replace. The game should work fine. Intro seems to be missing, but i know that can be found elsewhere. |

This download is legit. The story line is AWESOME, and though it has some bug problems, you can tell the developers put painstaking effort into the game. CDProjekt is a company to watch. The game the highest quality RPG I‘ve played since the Baldur‘s Gate series - and I bought it. If you enjoy the game as much as I did, you should too. |

It downloaded and installed fine. I copied the witcher file from skidrow folder on disc 2 to the system folder in the game files and when I try to launch the game i get a "side by side configuration" error. Any ideas?

I downloaded the enhanced version from MULTI6 and I‘ve installed the game using daemon tools. Works for me, no bonus disc was needed. Just install like normal, copy crack from DVD1(or 2) and that‘s it. I had no problems, for exception of bugs, that are also in original game. |

Extract the files to a folder, make it easy, make "witcher" folder on desktop. Mount disk 1 with Daemon tools, install from disk 1. When it calls for bonus disk UNMOUNT disk 1 from that virtual drive and MOUNT disk 2 on same drive. Install will pick up where it left off. After it‘s fully installed COPY CRACK from SKIDROW folder into The Witcher Enhanced Edition/System folder. Thank Skidrow for being so kind.
Buy it if you like it, it‘s a worthy game to keep |
