His steps do NOT work. This is NOT in english no matter how you install this. I wasted my time on this one.. do not make the same mistake we did. |

The genius who upped this might try adding a .txt with install instructions since the installer is in Russian as are all the docs, and even if you could read it, if you don‘t have the character set installed all you see is ??????? So don‘t be such a smartass Borris, now go back to the bar and drink some more Vodka and pray for a job where you earn more then 3 bucks a month. |

Yes the game is in English/Russian. I followed the steps Sirium posted, thank you, and it installed in English just fine. Very nice to finally play after such a LOOOONG Xcom hiatus =) Have fun |

didnt work for me either on vista. followed siriums notes but always got [abort/rety/ignore] dialog on almost every file. ignored my way through to the end of the installation, but game didnt start.. |

For autorun download MagicISO Virtual CD/DVD Manager and mount the files on it. |

As stated before, everything is in Russian. Had to manually adjust the install folder and the game still didn‘t work, gave me a graphics error. Might work for others, but due to lack of english documentation, I wouldn‘t waste my time. |

GAme is playable in English if you follow the instruction of the 4th post. However the game is extremely underwhelming compared to the original Xcom UFO series. I‘m still playing "UFO defense" rather than this one. Deep and addictive gameplay Bad imitation with better graphics. |

Ok the game installer is not in english, but the game itself is in english, and the game will install in some funk-a-delic russian directorys, and Kasumimi is correct, even Xcom - Tftd is better, you can fix some of that with B-man‘s ease of use mod, but even still the game gets very redundant very fast. |

The game is not the english version, it is the russian version with the option to install in english, if it was the english version or the multi-language version the installer would be in english with the option of installing in russian, or german or whatever. |
