hey guys i know this can be kinda confusing took me 6 hours to get it all worked out but it does work fine. so first step is unrar the dvd image. winrar works just right click vty-229.001 and click open with. then select winrar. then choose unpack location and unpack. step 2 mount or burn the cd image you got from the partials. daemon tools is free and easy. when mounted or cd is burned and inserted into the computer close and ignore the auto-run. and continue to step 3 step 3 open your dvd and go to your vitality folder open the install file there. if your on vista you may need to right click and run as administer.choose your install location. i advise somewhere simple like C: but its up to the user. the unpack process takes a decent amount of time and at a couple points makes it may seem like its stalled out but keep with it. step 4 when the vitality installer is done unpacking go to the folder you installed to. open the install folder in it. example ()warhammer 40k DOW IIInstall open and run DXSETUP and the gfwlivesetup files. step 5 after you have run those two go back to your dvd/vitality folder and copy over the entire folder into your main DOW II folder then just run your xlive_start file in your dow folder(id advise creating a shortcut at some point) to boot game. ive been running at high medium graphics and logged several days worth of play time with no glitches, burps, slows, stalling or failures. once your in game just hit home on the keyboard and create an offline profile to play you don‘t get your achievement but what can you expect for free. I hope next uploaders will make more detailed guides so that the nooibest of us can play these games. |

It works, but not so easy to install. You have to follow the instructions in the file. When you download an update, swap only the files from the folder, not the entire folder |
