I don‘t know who really wrote all those comments about how this was great software and contained no viruses. Because they are all LIES! Unfortunately, I fell for the bullshit, and even more unfortunate I had to leave during the download and left my computer running. When I returned I found that without having even executed the program the Backdoor Trojan was busy at work and had deleted files in Zone Manager Suite and had made many changes to many setting. I knew immediately I had a major problem on my hands. Of course after having to conduct a most thorough scan The Trojan backdoor was discovered and it came for this crap I downloaded. Some good tips on how to avoid downloading fake or scammy torrents. Check the contents of the torrent, a single rar files is often an indication for a pass worded file, especially if it is accompanied by a readme.txt/.url. Nowadays you even have to watch out for releases with a single avi file and a readme file/url where the user is required to rename the avi file to rar and fetch a password somewhere. Tracker names which look very similar to well known trackers are often fake, e.g.: http://vip-the-piratebay.homelinux.com:6969/scrape and http://tracker-btc-net.dnsdojo.org:6969/scrape Unknown/new trackers (that cant be found on Google anywhere) with large amounts of seeds/lechers. If an application torrent isnt really appropriate for Bit Torrent (very small) its better to avoid them. Check the size and see if it fits the description. Most important: install a good (up-to-date) virus/spyware scanner and scan before opening! In the end its experience alone that helps identifies the fakes. Most people who have been file-sharing for a little while can easily spot these bad torrents but its clearly not so easy for the novice Trust the DiZzY. |

Heads up guys... AVG Anti Virus is NOT our Friend... FACT: I have a Keygen for a certain program that I‘ve used many times. All the Sudden, AVG reported it as having a Virus... No Virus Found. After running the Keygen, it worked Fine and I wrote the Key produced down on paper and tried it on the first computer. It Worked Fine. I then re-scanned the computer that produced the Key with both (up to date) Panda and Norton, AGAIN... No Virus Found and the System Works Fine. AVG is a Good Anti Virus program. BUT, apparently AVG is taking it upon themselves to be our Moral Police. USERS BEWARE... Not only did AVG report this Keygen as having a Virus (it does Not) it completely DISABLED it. Made it unusable on the first computer. AVG is deciding (without your knowledge or approval) what they will lie about and what they will DISABILE on your personal property... I just ran Ad-Aware and guess what it found? Win32 backdoor agent! Wake up guys (and dolls) this IS A FREIGGING VIRUS! NO VIRUS for Nod32. I‘ve inatalled AVG and it found more than 30 viruses in files that I‘m using for years!!! in my OS without problems. But since AVG was in my system, internet connection was glitching, OS loading extremely slow... like if AVG was virus by itself. All problems vanished as soon as I uninstalled AVG. |

miraclclefreal you are so BANG ON!!! DON‘T USE AVG for virus detection. Someone posted a while back that AVG have taken it upon themselves to be moral or corporate police. Irony of it is, when I downloaded the AVG 8.x suite it was fine. About a month later, after passing several virus scans. The STUPID AVG application started to report itself (my copy of AVG 8.x as having a virus. Same with several apps I‘ve had for years.I TOTALLY AGREE WITH miraclefreak on this one...!! Do yourself a favour, D/L anything but AVG itself. UNREAL. |

This may contain a virus. I run two antivirus programs and both display alarms and DELETE the offending file. They don‘t quarantine them, which is what they normally do when a keygen or crack triggers the alarm. In those cases I can look at the file and decide whether or not to trust it. The files are completely deleted and the torrent software can no longer seed without re-downloading. If you disagree about this, please comment and I will remove this warning if I‘m wrong. I used another torrent to get the same version in which I extracted the files to the program files folder and updated the registry. That one has worked perfectly. ...I already have downloaded the "WinRAR 3 80 Professional", which I already scanned with Avast and found it clean... but I wanted to check this one too (out of curiosity -curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought her back) so I downloaded it, without removing any torrent-trackers (like denis). I scanned with Avast and there‘s nothing wrong with it!!! It‘s clean...
And it‘s a fact that most antivirus programs do find "viruses" in keygen... My previous antivirus, McAfee used to "see" all keygen as viruses! Even the ones that I used for years... not to mention that it didn‘t actually "see" a real virus (although I had it up to date). I trust Avast enough to even install this, ‘cause I know that if sth‘s wrong it‘ll be "stopped by Avast immediatelly. ...the rest is up to you to decide (you might want to check this out with a different antivirus program than what you have...) Alright I gotta respond to this one cause this isn‘t very difficult. First of all, for all you people that are bitching about bad downloads.. don‘t use an Admin account. Set up a Limited User Account so you can actually repair the damage? Like it was said before... What your picking up is the Roadmap. I personally dont want it so I suggest Removing denis.stalker and sumotracker before Commencing the download. And whoever this guy saying AVG is screwing anything up... I wouldn‘t knock AVG 8 free at all. Just don‘t check the little box that says automatically remove! Personally, I would go AVG, Anti vir, Then an integration like CA (because I have support for life), NIT, Whatever. But the Rar works fine. Done. |

your anti v is only picking up the keygen which tells you that you have a decent bit of security on your pc ... this is a very good torrent and dont be put off by what your anti v picks up as its only doing its job .. but this winrar is a genuine good copy so try to get the keygen opened by other ways and means and besides even if it was a trojan your security would still pick it up nevertheless even if it was opened up .. some of these guys dont look beyond what their security says about softwares and the likes ... for example i did a DL of roxio 10 media creator with a keygen , couldnt get the keygen opened .. took it to my old XP pc opened it up .. took a lot of keygen codes from that pc and then installed roxio on my vista and used one of the codes from xp and its working brilliantly so maybe do the same with this winrar keygen ‘ its always good to keep an old XP pc for this reason and then clean everything off it once youve done what needs to be done |
