I just test installed it on a Virtual machine.
Smooth install... Looks OK... Works OK... And on desktop there is a dir with a bunch of customization scripts... quite handy. My only complain is why the *ell would you pack the image in DAA file instead of a standard ISO, which all burning software knows about it? (the CD Burner In the torrent works fine, but I would have preferred not to have to install it just for this one task) |

PPL i just installed this, but it‘s looks like ordinary Windows XP with SP3 with some tweaking, nothing BIG. There is NO IE7, WMP11 the scripts you are talking about... so what did I do wrong.
As performance... it looks soooo faste than me older SP2 XP. For now, I recommend it! |

Had a lot of trouble getting this to boot - gburner wouldn‘t make a bootable image for me. So I downloaded PowerIso, extracted the files (after several unsucsessful attempts) and then used CdImage GUI to create the iso, using the boot image included with it. There is only one problem that I noticed, my friend too, this Windows Setup DO NOT FORMAT your drive, just delete something, probably just windows files. So all programs, games you had on previous Windows, all the files will be still there, sucks! |

I had no problem using Windows Setup to the quick format or slow format my hard drive with this version.Just remember to leave the install cd in the drive until all the extras are added,otherwise you will miss out on IE7, WMP11,etc.This version is a bit faster than the standard sp3 XP, I wonder how the creator managed to tweak it up so well. |

please can someone help me, i followed all the instructions that came with this download and everything was working fine until my pc booted from the cd rom. i got through to the part where i formatted my old HD and start the install process for xp but after it gets to 100% my pc restarts and it just restarts the process of booting from the cd rom again.

mrgooner81, how ancient is your pc? maybe you can press delete when your computer starts,then change the boot order to boot from the harddisk first,to avoid your pc from re-booting from the cd again.also if you‘re in doubt about the capability of your old harddisk then download M.H.D.D.,burn it to a cd,boot up from it and scan your harddisk to see how many bad spots there are.if there‘s too many bad spots then trash it! |

I actually installed this on a 2007 Sony Vaio laptop and it installs perfectly except for one thing, like any other laptop, you have to install drivers and keep them handy while installing OS on laptops to make wifi, network, cam etc... to work so this freaking annoying pop up comes annoyingly every 4 seconds that the battery is not compatible, even with battery driver and stuff installed and I tried anything to make it go away but I had no luck (while typing this in the middle of the screen). Another thing is that I like installing XP OS that have NOTHING in them, but this actually has past files embedded inside the WINDOWS folder that appears that the ex owner of this OS uninstalled everything and torrented it, definitely not my taste since I like OS straight from CD‘s and it looks like it has corrupted and old registry infections built in, so after all not worth the download especially for laptops. I like the Pro and Corp and everything since Pro is much better than Home in features, but not worth it. |

to ampdj89......the only thing added to this windows xp pro install cd is some very good tweaks that speed the thing up.if you examine what‘s in the folder on the desktop after the installation completes,you will find a series of tweaks,ranging from mild to absolutely radical.I have been using this version for ages and it is the best one offered on this website at the moment.the problems people are encountering are because they possibly are not taking the time to read the instructions carefully and doing what they are instructed to do,so don‘t give up seeding this excellent version! |

I installed it in Linux Mint running Virtual Box. (to avoid any potential viruses,trijans,rootkits etc) It installed and ran without a hitch. Smooth. I definitely reccommend this method of operation for paranoid people (or any virtual machine for that matter) It‘s a good compromise, and you can‘t really beat Linux for OS speed. As a virtual machine it runs faster than Vista installed regularly. Again, thanks for the upload. Also Kaspersky reports that it‘s fine, but having been the victim in the past of a sophisticated rootkit that resides in the upper memory of the video card, bios, and ram (written in solaris to attack windows) I am wary of any windows because of its swiss cheese like structure, group policy holes, and other backdoors. A fuckin admin account from a website creates itself with full access to your computer, make of that what you will. After installing your network adaptor (which strangely isnt included) and you connect to the internet your av will alert you to multiple port scans from ips trying to invade your system. I mean look its a fucking dennis stalker torrent enough said there. This shit contains a hidden virus. People please trust me and dont allow this fucked up file to fuck up anymore comps. To d3vil: did you install a top of the range firewall like comodo firewall or zone alarm firewall to monitor what is going in or out of your computer after you installed this version? I wonder if you are knowlegable enough to know what programs are trying to access the internet in windows xp and whether it is safe to allow them or not.Did you notice whether the default windows firewall is activated after installation or not? Did you know that it‘s common for all kinds of intruders to try to attack your computer so that‘s why you must be behind a decent firewall such as in a good router or a setup like IPcop.How come the latest NOD32 does not detect any viruses or trojans in this version? I want to see plain evidence before I throw out this version and install another,can you please provide concrete evidence for us downloaders? |

Yes,d3vil,you‘re right,there‘s something very fishy about this version.I just tried to install Zone Alarm Pro firewall [which it got from this website] and it said.....you do not have administrators rights.....please logon as administrator,then proceed to install zone alarm pro.No matter what I did,I could not gain administrators rights to install zone alarm pro,even though I ran a command.....control userpasswords2, and then did my best to change to a new administrator,I could not.The free version of Zone Alarm can be installed no problem,but it is far too limited in what it can do to monitor what goes on in the background of your computer.So beware fellow downloaders,if you can‘t gain full administrators control of this version,then you are highly vulnerable to a rip-off scheme installed in the guts of it to attempt to get your credit card details,passwords,etc. |

Really good install, I like it. The only problems I had were: drivers.cab couldn‘t install (had this problem before on another version...donno why), and for some reason it didn‘t format my hard disk. I was wanting to do a complete format, didn‘t see it here. All in all, excellent. |

I gave this version of xp a go on my comp that is online and my mrs‘ comp which is not connected to the internet and it fucked them both up. There is some program/virus working away in the depths without your knowledge. People its simple if your one of them people who are so far up your own ass and think ‘well my super,duper, magical made by god himself antivirus says its ok so it must be blah blah‘ be my guest download and install this, fuck up your comp and jeprodise your personal details. Here‘s some helpful suggestions for folks who are having trouble with this windows xp: use TDK rewritable cd‘s to burn the install image and don‘t use any cheap and nasty cd‘s and you will find this thing works properly.Also burn the install image very slowly,about 4x is perfect.As to the claims that there are viruses and spyware and hidden programs inside it,you just have to install Norton Internet Security and scan everything after you have got it fully set up and you‘ll find there is nothing there.It is also possible to set up an administrator password and change whatever you like with user accounts or even set up a new administrator.If you are still doubtful,then take it to a decent computer shop and they‘ll tell you there‘s not a thing wrong with this windows xp. |

was gonna try this but I read the long negative comment and decided not to. For bout two weeks Ive been trying to get weapon unlocks to work on my 2142 server, I have the same server software running fine and normally with all weapon unlocks on them. But my neighbor inherited a computer and he installed the server on to it then ran the PunkBuster Auto update Exe (And Im not so sure if thats the rite way to update a server) and yeah after he did that he had no weapon unlocks. I wasnt sure why that happened cause he kept saying its eaither the disk or the Mobo and I said theres no way its the board. so i went home and did the same auto updater on my perfectly running server and it did the same thing to mine, its like it tunred it into a demo server. so no big deal right just uninstall it and re-install, no that didnt change anything, so just uninstall Punkbuster and reinstall that (not with the autoupdater) and reinstall the server, no that didnt help either, so fuck it right just format the drive and reinstall the OS. surely that will work... Nope that didnt work either, so he took the drive over to his house and formated it in his machine using vista and reinstalled one of the XP sp3 vista ultimate editions on it then installed all the server and lol he ran the auto updater again and called me and said to get on his server and it was running with unlocks. and it was so I still have the machine over here that he inherited and he brought the drive over her and it wouldnt boot up im guessing cause of driver issues , it was just hanging on a startup countdown. so formated and reinstalled XPpro and then Sp3 and then the server and after all that still i get no unlocks. Im getting tired of having to transfer sp3 through my network and install it so Im looking for an xp install with sp3 built in so i can continue t rying to figure out what the hell is goin on with these two wanna be servers and I am not settling for "oh man its that mother board" like my neighbor is tryin to tell me. im bout to just go over there and copy the partition on his other running server lol.
so anyone reccomend a good OS with sp3 on here ? Thanks for reading. |

Everything seemed to work fine at first until I got to a certain point. If someone doesn‘t mind helping me, here‘s where I think something went wrong. My Acer Aspire 5100 series Notebook had two seperate drives, C: and D:. When I put the Bootable WinXP CD in, right when I got to the format partition part, there was a C: and D: (obviously).. and then an F: O_o. I wasn‘t sure so I had all of it be formatted. The install went through but finally when windows was about to start, I kept getting a blue screen error (couldn‘t SS or take a regular picture of it) which said if this problem happens again (yadda yadda) to uninstall any newly installed drivers and such. Now I couldn‘t even go into safe mode to see if that might‘ve helped so I reinstalled my craptacular Vista. Anyone know where I might‘ve went wrong in the installation? Thank you for your time. |

This is a great copy, probably the best performance-wise. But there are a couple of problems one might want to keep in mind before installing:
1. The extras (the update assistant, IE7, WMP11 others) are installed ONLY when installing on a clean formatted partition. If you choose to delete your old windows or install over it the extras install won‘t kick in after windows loads for the first time. 2. However, you can‘t choose to simply format your parition (as during classical XP install), you must delete your former windows parition and make a new one which will then be formatted. 3. However, deleting your old parition will change the partition letters (if your windows was on C and you also had a D, deleting C will turn D into C and the new parition which you made for this windows will be named D). Also you can‘t readily change them back using PM or DM or something similar, since windows becomes quite attached to its initial parition letter. |

I mounted this with PowerISO‘s Virtual Drive and then used Nlite to copy it to my hard drive. After that, I made a bootable CD with Nlite and the .iso works just fine.
DAA is pure shit - couldn‘t get it to work after burning, etc. Mounting with PowerISO and ripping with nlite is the only thing that worked for me. |

Folks... THIS PATCHED so-called "WIN XP SP3 Pro" SUCKS BIG TIME!!!
I definitely don‘t recommend it to anybody. You‘re not prompted to enter any serial number during setup (everything goes fully automatic), you cannot change your administrator account, you cannot start the restore service for your drives, and almost every Windows setting is changed from the normal default. I‘m gonna junk the CD and try something else. |

I ran OPHCRACK live CD on this windows version and found out that the administrator password is empty[meaning that there is not one at all].Therefore you can install your own administrator password if you like to and change to another user or administrator,thereby exercising total control over the whole windows program.Also after installing this version,you need to turn on the automatic updates to get it to update itself when you allow it to[like at shutdown time]You may also turn on system restore or turn it off if you prefer that.I think this is the best windows xp version available as you can leave it to install by itself without the usual messing around and it is damn fast as well. |

Please, realy need help! I formated and instaled windows fine on my computer but now i can‘t connect to the internet anymore??? I can connect fine to my router(i use wireless) yet i can‘t get onto the internet while my other computers which hav a different version of windows can get on the internet fine. i got a question...i‘ve been experimenting with different OS and I actually had this one on my desktop computer before my harddrive failed and it was by far my favorite. I wasnt here when my friend put it on there tho cause i had to take my sister to work but anyways i loaded it onto my new laptop i just got and a lot a things were different. 1 there was no experience folder on the desktop and no noir theme and no changed background like there was before. and during installation it didnt format my harddisk and i still had all my files in another folder which used up too much of my HDD. did I do something wrong? lol |

I burnt this on a CD using the gburner24 SW and it still wouldnt boot. Yes, I did change the bootup sequence and tried it on a couple of computers and still didnt work. Anyone got any ideas? |

I ran this in VMware‘s virtual machine and its fine. It passes Windows Genuine Advantage tool, meaning you can receive all automatic updates from microsoft, basically they think its authentic. I installed kaspersky version 7.0.0.125 (database published - 11/10/2008 11:01:32 PM -- the time and date the virus definition was last updated), and is clean. All microsoft apps included have been tested and work fine ( Internet Explorer 7, windows media player, windows movie maker ect). I installed other software such as Uniblue Power Suite and Ad-aware 2008 Pro and all work fine. On the downside the Comand Prompt window is transparent and the User Settings windows (from the ctrl panel) stays completely blue and no buttons appear.

The only possible way is to us a program called Wine and run through all long process, why jump through all these hoops? Linux is such a primitive OS you literally have to teach it to do EVERYTHING, from how to use your wireless card to how to connect to the web. Writing weeks of scripts to make you machine run properly is not worth the time. Real power users do not have the time to tell their machine how breathe. While its fun for you right now, once you‘ve left high school and have less free time you‘ll understand. This torrent works fine, is clean but has flaws mentioned above (cmd prompt and ser accounts). I do not condone pirating software ESPECIALLY an OS. If you like the software buy it, programmers put ALOT of time and effort into software dont let it all go to waste. I‘d also recommend running this in a virtual machine like VMware Workstation (30 day free trial at www.vmware.com) as i did. It‘s a useful was of checking out this torrent for yourself with no repercussions. |

about to make this disc and install it on my laptop which is on vista right now, i prefered xp, my laptop has plenty ram and a dualcore cpu, but i wouldnt say its really fast, i expect it will be faster using xp as thats less demanding on the comp resources, 1 question tho, when ive installed an OS before, ive been asked for the serial before windows is finished installing, does this allow me to install XP then add the license key once i run windows for the first time??? The so called virus is "cmdow.exe" It‘s not really a virus. Google it.
This windows program will NOT let you upgrade. You will get the can‘t copy errors many of you are reporting. It is bootable. You need to boot to it and do a fresh install. Other comments are correct. You can NOT enable system restore. If you have please let me know how you did. Also are unable to change the registered name from experience. But you can change the computer name. |

Just wanna say that although this does work, every now and then when i install or uninstall some software and reboot, the windows wont come on...so i need to restart it manually and choose "start widows normally - last known configuration that worked" and it really pisses me of so i‘m now going to try some other version. |

If your internet is not working after installing this program then use Linux,then you won‘t need a driver disk to put in missing drivers that you wiped out by formatting your hard drive.Linux is free,very stable and great fun to use.Start with Turbolinux,Fedora,Suse or Mandriva,these are all great RPM based operating systems and very user friendly. |

If i download this using a mac (i‘m a mac user) and transferred the file to a PC with a Burner, and booted up the BootCamp Assistant on my Mac and popped in the disk with this content, do u think it would work?. I play games that are only for PC but carrying around 2 computers just isn‘t going to work for me. I wonder if there are any other Macintosh users who have used this on their mac successfully..?

ok first of all steamy is sorta right. it is a recompiled xp home with a pro installer all the pro features are there, just as they are in home. all the updates are not done.. mind you it is a few monthsafter release not a big deal because it is a vlk, does not reguire activation and passes all current wpa.. so the long and sort is it works just fine and is a well compiled os (as far as windows goes).. there are 2 bugs in the installs but both are not a big deal. the first is a windows file described above, and the second is in the gburner program.. which is easily healed by everything including free programs such as avg. i would like to suggest as an alternative to gburner, simply download poweriso from this site as well as magiciso. doing this will let you read and write all iso formats both programs also burn directly tobootable disc.converting from their format to standard iso takes only a few minutes no big deal. great dl |

Has anyone found any viruses, backdoors in this xp version? If not, you might want to consider scanning the drive after installing the os. A great way to find viruses if any, is scanning the drive while the OS is not active. If the OS has been modified to trick any anti-virus of anti-spyware software, even if you scan your system with most of the anti-virus programs available day and night. I‘ll post an update with final results soon. Everyone‘s comment helps. |

Windows installation is simple. if you dont understand it or this happens: 1) it keeps booting from my cd rom drive 2) my internet isnt working 3) i installed my programs that are full of trojans and refuse to believe that its NOT this torrents version of windows thats causing my computer to be reduced to a big pile of shit stuck to Rosie O‘Donnels ass. 4) where is the cd key(dumb fuck its an autoinstaller with corp key...not rocket science really) 5) i tried this and i cant understand so i will blame the torrent compiler instead of realising how computer illiterate i am. Wow! this torrent stuff is great! the download and installation was easy. Note: when you insatall and messages reads that some files could not be copied. restart the installation and this time delete the partioned disk..then the coputer will format it for you and then just follw directions the the computer gives you and you are all good to go. its really fast too. thanks uploader! |

well it would seem that people love this torrent or there wouldn‘t be all these wonderful comments.. i have this running on probably 10 pcs everything is just fine.. i think suisam is right on the money here (could have used a little more tasteful language but whatever).. so again works fine have had no problems with dns changers yada yada and so forth.. if security was a huge issue you wouldn‘t be downloading torrents anyways you would be buyin it.. unless of course like me you hate windows and use it out of sheer simplicity of xbox tinkering both original and 360 (more the later).. and for all you security nuts find yourself an old p2 with 128mb of ram throw coyote linux on it and throw it in front of your network.. leaving your windows machines free to roam with no worries after some minor set-up of coyote |

You can use this windows to repair the old one.When you repair your computer with another windows xp cd,that cd key replaces the old one.I do not think it has anything to do with the cd key.Anyway,this version of windows will not ask you to input any cd key,because this has been set up as an unattended installation,which saves you heaps of messing around.But with this tweaked windows xp installation,you must leave the cd in the cd-rom drive much longer than normal,because the extras get added in at the first boot up after the normal installation of windows has finished eg.I.E.7,WMP 11,desktop background,etc.Give it a try,this windows should replace your old one and still keep your data and programs by selecting the repair option during installation. |

.....tijmen.....you obviously took the intallation cd out of the dvd-rom tray too soon.You must leave it there even after windows fully installs,because then it will install I.E.7,windows media player 11,desktop backgrounds,service pack 3,a desktop folder with a bunch of clever tweaks by eXPerience,etc.Then you should have used a usb memory stick to install your internet card driver,which you should have downloaded from the manufacturers‘ website.Now after doing that and you are successfully online,you need to download the rest of the drivers for your motherboard,vga card,chipset,sound card,touchpad,mouse,wireless card,etc.,otherwise your laptop will not function as it was designed to. |

There‘s a lot of misinformation out there about this torrent so let me clear some things up. I was just looking to load up a virtual guest for my nieces to use when they come over to use my computer (last time they got a stupid virus or something from Myspace... which isn‘t a terrible thing unless you run your OS without an Antivirus... like me).
I downloaded this and converted it to an ISO (honestly, I don‘t understand why it wasn‘t an ISO to begin with. Why be difficult? Why not just use a standard format instead of some douchy .daa format?) After I d/l‘ed about half of it I noticed the comment with the link to the ISO version of this download. I said screw it and converted it with gburner (included in torrent). Install works great (yes it IS bootable). Updates install with no problem, however it reports SP3 needs to be installed for some reason. I just skip that update and it works fine. Nevermind the bullocks, this download is solid. |

Aside from all the negative comments left regarding this program, I installed it and found it to be quite destructive.
After burning the image to a CD-R via PowerISO, I installed the program (had to set computer to boot-from-disk). Once installation was completed, I noticed quite a few things that I believe many of you should know about: 1. Installation completely removed all files, drivers and programs previously installed on my laptop. I had to retrieve drivers for much needed hardware such as WIFI and 10/100 network cards. 2. I am unable to install any firewall or anti-virus programs. Let me be clearer...they CAN be installed, but something sitting on this version of Windows does not allow proper installation. All the seperate pieces of my AV program (CA Internet Suite to be exact) report as being uninstalled and none of them run. Once installed, they cannot be removed. I‘m stuck w/an installed AV program that isn‘t installed at all. 3. After several unsuccessful attempts to remove AV program, I had to do a hard restart of my laptop because everything hung. I noticed that, after a few recognizable "END NOW" boxes, one came up that read: "YOU SHOULD NOT SEE ME." I can ONLY assume that this isn‘t something I should have on my computer. All attempts to search through my Windows/System32 files yielded non-removeable DLL‘s and eventually more computer lock-ups. 4. System restore is off and even after changing it back found that it was off again and couldn‘t be turned back on due to some sort of internal error. 5. As a last-ditch effort, I decided to create another Administrator account in an attempt to remove the other one. Although I WAS able to create one, removal of any other account is NOT a given option. Now I KNOW that changing and/or removing User Accounts is possible with my desktop (running WinXP Home) since I‘ve done it. Now I‘m stuck w/two Admin User Accounts and STILL majorly pissed off. The longer I have this version on my computer, the more I begin to find that it is completely fucked. Even the smallest of issues are becoming more prevelant. If ANYONE has ANY information on how to clean up this version, PLEASE post a comment on how to do so. Also, ever since creating a new User Account, I notice on the account login screen that Windows begins EXECUTING the following DLL‘s prior to displaying the desktop: **WINDOWSSYSTEM32UMXWNP.DLL **WINDOWSSYSTEM32WPALOGON.DLL Thank you for your assistance in this matter. Okay - I‘m adding to my previous comment...
I‘m quite curious as to why there‘s an equal amount of positive comments regarding this O.S. torrent as there are negative comments. Regardless of how smart you are or how much technical know-how you have, there is plenty of malicious shit packed into the System32 files (among others - all of them hidden per normal Windows file settings). I‘m not a moron and I know what I NEED to know about computers (in this case: how to install a new and/or upgraded O.S.) and there is nothing positive I can state regarding this torrent. After many issues, with everything from a handful of Malware (some quite violent) to unchangeable system settings (such as changing Administrator or activating System Restore, I regret 100% downloading and installing this software. I was able to find the names of several Trojans that came along w/this shiny torrent which were NOT on this computer prior to the install. Thankfully after some extensive research and Google searches, I found what seems to be the only program available that would both install properly (this O.S. has the ability to both hide from AV and Anti-Spam programs as well as fuck with the installs completely) as well as find every malicious code that is well hidden within specific files. The program I used to scan and remove said malicious code files is: MalwareBytes‘ Anti-Malware (Google it - it‘s a shareware program that requires no purchase to both scan AND remove files). Strangely enough, after running the FULL system scan that lasted just over an hour, it found over 50 malware files INCLUDING a DNS changer as well as a browsing program (such as Internet Explorer) hijacker (no matter what you type you get forced onto some random website - quite annoying). IF you‘ve already installed this Windows program and you THINK that you are safe, I would HIGHLY suggest running Malwarebytes‘ regardless. While you browse through your favorite porn-sites, Trojans are quietly doing the nasty within your system. Ofcourse though, this is all per suggestion. Even though my computer wasn‘t working to its‘ full potential PRIOR to installing this Windows torrent, I would MUCH RATHER have it back the way it was - atleast then I could have fixed the problems instead of adding a shitload more. I hope any "could-be" downloaders stay away and avoid this one. This computer is still acting incredibly bad and even though I‘ve now had this O.S. installed for a week, I‘m still unable to install/uninstall any AV programs and to top that off, I still cannot activate System Restore without receiving an error message telling me it cannot be turned on. ......to illfate.......I just performed a fresh clean install of this windows version and downloaded the latest MalwareBytes‘ Anti-malware 1.31 program and installed it and did a quick scan followed by a full scan.The quick scan only found 3 minor problems,the full scan did not find any problems at all.I think you should start all over again,download this version,burn it at 2x on a decent cd with gburner,select the slow format option of your harddisk during installation,leave the cd in the tray until all the extras get installed,then scan again with Anti-Malware,install comodo free firewall,Kaspersky antivirus,and I‘m sure you will be satisfied with this version. |

Alright--as a tech and a developer, I just helped a friend install this version from this torrent--here‘s my findings:
Since it‘s -unattended-, that means that you‘re stuck with a registered user name and company of ‘eXPerience‘. Hack the registry with your name and company and you‘re good to go. Want to change the password (there is none set by default) on the Administrator account? Control Panel :: User Accounts. As far as virii/trojans here‘s what I found: AVG comes up with a false positive for the CMDOW.EXE tool. This isn‘t a virus or a trojan, but a tool used when writing batch files for silently (i.e. not popping up a big old command window) executing processes. Details at: http://www.commandline.co.uk/cmdow/ Once you change your user name, and for god-sake install AVG Free... it should go without saying, but INSTALL FIREFOX. You WILL inevitably hit a site with Internet Explorer that will cause malware to be installed. The very first thing I do when setting up a client‘s machine for the first time is install Firefox. Other than that, this install is clean. No malware or suspicious network access to speak of. THIS IS NOT A CLEAN, VERBATIM IMAGE OF AN XP INSTALL CD--look for the ‘eth0‘ releases if you want that, but it IS an acceptable install disc with minimal fluff. |

All right guys, i know a couple of you have tried to tell us how exactly to make this a bootable disc, but i still can not get this to work. I just get "no OS found" when i try to use the disc i burned. And yes i have the boot order set up properly cause i have an Ubuntu Linux disc that i made that works just fine. The computer will accept the linux disc right off, but i can not get it to boot the windows disc. I think i may be burning it improperly or something. Can someone go over it one more time, very clearly and step by step and say exactly what you click on to burn it properly once open up gBurner. Please help me out here guys! |

4406pak,did you enter the bios of your computer‘s motherboard and alter the boot device priority?Press f1,f2,f3 or delete keys to enter the bios setup and choose boot from cd or dvd rom drive first,or on new motherboards press f11 or whatever key to enter the boot selection screen and choose to boot from the cd or dvd.If all else fails then find an ISO image of the windows setup an download that and burn it straight to a disk. |

Before i was running windows xp 2002 sp2 i think? and now i deleted all my partitions and started a new one with xp pro sp3 unattended and ran a quick setup. But everything looks excaxtly the same. Same desktop with eXPerience folder, blue cloudy sky with green hills. DID I DO SOMETHING WRONG? I would download and install the appropriate video driver if I were you 4406pak. Maybe your motherboard has an on-board video setup if you can‘t see any video card inside your computer.If it‘s an NVIDIA video chipset,then go to the NVIDIA website and do the auto scan to locate the video driver.Failing that,then get the motherboard model number off the motherboard and google it to locate the drivers.Did you know that on the piratebay website they have some windows xp setups with heaps of video,audio,lan,sata drivers included with the windows setup and this saves tons of messing around looking for drivers. |

cool version but blocks you from administrative privlages , good luck installing security becuase i was denied from installing both firewall and antivirus. This also hid moduals in memory when installing certain art programs , Whould be cool if this was pakaged right. my advise whould be to ignore this torrent and find a better one like the Student Release or untouched version. |

Just Do it the normal way like how u install windows but please back up your files and other hd ( important files ) then clear everything in c: like normal and do a fresh install.. remember to format it slow not quick i rather do slow . nothing much to follow buddy just do a new install for windows .. =) good luck buddy.. |

I downloaded it ofcourse, then I converted with poweriso to the .iso format (this was after just burning it with the burner it came with).. Alright so I made the cd and I notice poweriso saying it‘s not bootable, so after looking around forever on how to make a bootable disk I can‘t seem to find out how, so I turn off comp and try f12 spaming it and it says there is nothing to boot, iv tried the norm format with the burner it came with then reg format with poweriso and then the iso version, is it because it‘s not bootable? please iv tried looking around and it‘s prob. something very simple like always |

I‘m having a problem with it. I burned the image onto a CD-R using gBurner but for some reason on startup when I hit enter to boot from CD, it says "Invalid file type". It‘s not being able to run the file for some reason.

Nevermind. I got it installed and got it to work. Sadly, it screwed up my secondary harddrive though and I lost all my info. Good news is I can easily recover it which I‘ll do tomorrow.
Review: This version is really fast and well made. Flaws here and there but not bad at all. Not compatible with some old drivers so make sure you get the latest. My favorite part is it stops those annoying popup bubbles on the bottom right of the screen when something happens like the lame security shit. Very smooth and great DL. I suggest EVERYONE get it. |

Install gburner from the download. Then use Winrar or MagicISO to open the .daa document. Copy and paste all the files inside the .daa to the gburner main window and burn to a CD/DVD.
You could also just follow winter123‘s tutorial above. Make sure you disconnect any secondary harddrives first because it will screw it up if you dont. |

First, running any anti virus tools after you‘ve installed this copy of windows will do exactly nothing. Look up "rookits." They come standard with most trojans now.
Second, .daa files are just ISOs with extra information attached on them so most image burning/reading software can‘t recognize them. The .daa "format" was created just to sell PowerISO. I nice man has made an iso extractor. http://aluigi.org/mytoolz.htm#daa2iso I would be vary suspicious of any thing in a .daa file. And if you really want to see if you have any rootkits/trojans, you need to run a virus scan from say, linux. The Trinity Rescue Kit is most helpful. |

If you look at most of the so called cracked ,unattended xp releases they all use the same key for registration (V2C47 MK7JD 3R89F D2KXW VPK3J)public release . They want too shove vista down your throat. Theirs some good ways to fool vista as of now. Find a real xp crack and let us know not just a mass release to the public or unattended release cause as of now that serial and others are attended and your xp wont update or valadate. Still works but i see a post above this one ,wont reset. I‘ll have to try. An easy way to find the serial numbers of your microsoft junk is to download a little program thats free (belarc advisor) look on the left top of page and you will see a ( find your key, keys and lots more . This is a great little program . Print out your machines spec sheet ,mobo no ,hd total gigs ,free gigs and a whole lot more. Comes in very handy to have the print out in case of a hardware problem . Tells how many updates you have ,plus lots of good info. |

Seems to be working fine, when you go to windows update it asks you to do the WGA well it doesn‘t pass it‘s a VLK so you can‘t update through there.
But i did notice i still get the yellow notification over in the bottome right hand corner so when i went to shut off the computer instead of pressin restart i hit shut off and it installs the updates just fine so if anything comes up bad i will report but this seems to be a good download thank you to the creator =) |

This XP works perfectly, I did convert .daa to .iso (there is a free tool out there) and burn it with ImgBurn, I only really missed the format partition option during setup, because it messed the ol‘ shitty Home Edition that came with my notebook with the clean one, it also leaves all the stuff in Program Files, obviously unusable, so I strongly recommend to fully clean the partition before booting to install, otherwise it‘s OK! |

They then trace it to the internet service provider and send them an email saying we are breaking the law. Blah blah blah. I was told if I get caught 4 more times they have the right to ban me from getting the internet with them. I use broadstripe by the way and they suck ass. I had a similar issue with Comcast a year ago with some movies I downloaded. So I would just say becareful..... and good luck. Sorry had to stop uploading this program but I will be more careful in the future when I download Microsoft software. |

the "setupdd.sys...error code 4" was a problem with one of my 2 256MB dimms. Fix was located by reading: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=330181

So, is this version already tweaked? or do you have to run the scripts to tweak it?
I mean, besides the automated install (no serial etc) when it‘s in first boot, is it like a regular XP version with no system adjustments? Why I‘m asking this: I‘ve just downloaded XP Coccinelle V4, it‘s a tool to create a bootable version of XP with loads of tweaks, latest updates etc, the only thing is, you have to make your image with a regular version of XP (pro home or corp, doesn‘t matter), with the XP Coccinelle V4 . It won‘t work with modified versions of XP. So is this a modified version or regular version. Hope that was all clear... Siluvatar |

I didn‘t even have to fuck around with the drivers, everything worked even without the need to install my drivers! I couldn‘t find any active viruses here, and no mess with the Admin account, but the UI is badly tweaked, and somewhy, this is yet another XP installation which has SYN attacks allowed, hmmmm.. But this is one seriously fast mothereffer. 0.o |
